The dishes are clean and the washing is done well but the functionality of the dishwasher is ridiculous. The top drawer doesn’t come out unless pulled hard and is hard to push in As well. The silverware tray has to be moved to close the bottom rack as well. Worst design ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We always use the cascade pod for detergent and found that using it in this washer it does not dissolve or only partially dissolves now we are trying to pit it in the silverware compartment

Washer works well. Design for the 3rd rack is lacking function. Does not function for flatware or large utensils- just a flat rack. Would have been better as a designated flatware shelf.

Door leak

Leaks at the door!!! This is a brand new dishwasher! Hopefully a fairly simple fix but but very frustrating. Poor quality control.

We'd like to help out with the leaking you are noticing. It can be normal to notice a small amount of water leak from the door, especially for new installations. This is due to the unit having to go through several complete wash cycles to properly seat the new door gasket. You can check to be sure the edge of the control panel is not hitting the adjacent cabinet, the door may give enough to latch but not enough to form a tight seal. Brand new dishwasher leaked all over floor

We just moved into our brand new home We have been buying GE Appliances for 40 years, and never a problem. Our brand new dishwasher just leaked all over our kitchen floor. Waiting for the outfit it was bought from to find out why. Our plumber said the seals in the dishwasher are bad. Not very happy right now. They don't make things like they used to.
