Never going back to hand washing dishes!

I've never liked dishwashers. Growing up, they never got the dishes clean and always left residue on the dishes so I decided to forever hand wash dishes. My fiance decided he wanted a dishwasher (since I don't have time to hand wash dishes every day). We had some specifications like a stainless steel tub, autosensing, etc. This dishwasher is EVERYTHING we wanted and more! Totally changed my mind about dishwashers. We've had this dishwasher for nearly two months now and I would absolutely never go back to hand washing all of our dishes. We use the Cascade Platinum Plus dishwashing packs, and the Cascade rinseaid (same as the samples that come with it). Once a moth we pop in a Cascade dishashing cleaner pod and empty out any gunk from the filter in the bottom (easy to reach, open, and clean!). We make sure to scrape and rinse off any leftover food we can, load it in the dishwasher, and everything comes out perfectly clean every single time! Glass, ceramic, and metal items come out the best, though there are water droplet marks leftover on plastic Tupperware. It's not dirty though, I just take a towel, rub it over the plastic, and the droplets disappear! There are more features we like including the bacteria resistant surfaces for high touch areas, it's 10000% easy to clean, there are bottle jets for bottles up top as well as jets beneath the silverware holder (ALL of our silverware is pristine every time) and we can adjust the height of the racks (as well as take out the third rack up top if we need more room). We haven't tried the app or the wifi features yet since we just run it on autosensing and let it do its thing! I highly recommend this dishwasher, especially if you are a skeptic like I was!

Discovered water damage on the side panel of cabinets adjacent to the dishwasher, that was installed less than two months ago.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent GE Profile Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This GE Profile dishwasher has it all! I like how the top rack has a tight grid pattern with removable basket to help keep smaller items from falling out. I like how the middle rack is height adjustable and gives you the option to wash bottles or taller cups that could use an extra cleaning. I was impressed that the bottom rack was very spacious and fit my large air fyer baskets comfortably. The silver wear basket is removable and has its own set of water jets! I like that there is a built in disposal, and you don’t have to rinse dishes before loading. I’ve been very happy with how well this dishwasher cleans and dries my dishes. This dishwasher does struggle slightly with stuck on oatmeal bowls, so those are the only bowls I rinse before washing. I like that the SmartHQ app was easy to install and connect my smartphone to my dishwasher on WiFi. I really like that the SmartHQ app tells me about the dishwasher status and can notify me if there is a problem with the dishwasher. I like that the SmartHQ app allows me to set a custom cycle, will tell me where in the cycle my dishwasher is, how much time is remaining, and will give me usage data. Overall, this GE Profile dishwasher has been excellent!

Ruined our island

We have been in our house exactly 1 year and the dishwasher is warping our panels in our island. We also have rollers that keep falling off that won’t stay in place. We were told our warranty is only good for 1 year from installation. Well that isn’t any help if we weren’t even living here for several months after it was installed. I am extremely unhappy and will never recommend this product or the place we our builder has us choose our appliances.

Too many important flaws

I can honestly say there isn’t very much about this dishwasher I like. Aside from the appearance, third rack and it seems to clean the dishes well, given the price I paid, I’m not happy with its quality. The bottom rack wheels fall off every time I pull the rack out. The door is extremely difficult to close and you can see the amount of stress put on the cabinets in order to close it. The door when open moves around, almost like it was bent in shipping. Definitely won’t buy another one! Can’t see this one lasting very long which is unfortunate because it’s brand new.

Quiet and Efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best dishwasher I have ever owned. (I’ve previously had Bosch, Samsung, and Amana). The dishes are always totally clean, super dry, and the silverware never comes out with food residue. Peanut butter knives are sparkling clean! I love the 3rd rack for large utensils.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first new dishwasher we’ve ever purchased and we love it. It’s super quiet and cleans the dishes really well. We can fit quite a bit of dishes in there. Only downside is that the cycles take a while to finish. But all in all, we love it.
