Disappointed in the quality of the dishwasher

Can't close the door of the dishwasher unless I move the flatware holder. The door itself is harder to close as compared to my previous dishwasher made by KitchenAid . The trays also are harder to push into the dishwasher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The lower rack should be slide inside the dishwasher before closing the dishwasher door. We recommend making sure your lower rack is completely seated on the track of the dishwasher so that it slides properly. Not worth it

Not excited about my GE Profile Dishwasher. All the moving parts are cheap plastic! The bottom wash wand melted after six months of use! CHEAP QUALITY!! Not so cheap price! It only dries on boost dry. The GE repairman actually said;”Well the dishwasher is only supposed to clean the dishes, not dry them!!” He actually said that with confidence!! OK!! That’s a new one!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not Made Like They Used to Be

Racks are a little flimsy and dont roll easily, but it gets the dishes clean.
The guys that installed it were very thorough and knew how to properly install a DW

Disappointed in dishwasher

This is my first ge dishwasher and I've had trouble with it from the first wash. I kept hearing a thumping noise after researching it i made sure there wasn't anything the way of the spray arms to cause this noise. It still thumped so I called for service. It is still under warranty. They came out, said it shouldn't be making the noise so they came back with a new bottom spray arm. It still thumped so they came back with a new bottom rack, it still thumped. Next they changed the bottom spray arm motor. It fixed the thumping problem. Now the control panel turns on by itself after I empty it then turns off by itself after about 20 seconds. Looks like I'll be calling the repair man again. I'm very disappointed in this product.

So far, a terrible design and poor quality build.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's 32 DAYS after installation and every light on my new dishwasher is blinking. Repair person indicates that the control panel needs to be replaced.
Configuration of this dishwasher doesn't make sense. I bought it because upper area can be lowered to fit larger mugs. But if you lower it, the wash arm is impeded by knives in the silverware rack. I had to remove the smaller silverware tray at the very top to enable fitting mugs and not having the wash arm impeded. Bad design that you can't use the options simultaneously.

If you haven't already, we do recommend resetting the electronics by flipping the breaker off for a couple minutes. We would also like to assist you with loading your knives and silverware so that you can utilize the amazing 3rd rack on this model. Please reinstall the 3rd rack and place your longer knives on it to get the best cleaning results and to utilize all the great features on your dishwasher.

Too long cycles

The specific cycle time can vary depending on multiple factors, including the chosen cycle, soil level, etc. Cycles like AutoSense and HeavyWash may run longer, and selecting an option like DryBoost may add time as well. Your dishwasher does feature a 1 Hour Wash if you prefer to utilize a shorter cycle.
