Have no idea how it works! Failure to drain warning the first time I attempted to use. Currently waiting for new water pump to be installed (one and a half weeks). So brand new appliance in place, 3 weeks later????? Not a clue!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing improvement over our KitchenAid!

We had a KitchenAid before, the GE is a big improvement. Love the top-level drawer, perfect for chopsticks, kitchen tools like tongs, spatulas and measuring spoons. Capacity is huge, and the ability to boost the hot water temp is another plus. Also appreciate the Microban material used wherever moisture can linger. Much quieter than the KitchenAid. We use the app to enable features like the bottle-washing jets and energy-saving cycle options. It's a winner, all around!

We love our dishwasher. It is so quiet we aren’t sure it is running! We’re learning about it’s great capacity when loaded wisely and the energy saving cycles work well. We recommend resetting your dishwasher by disconnecting power from the unit at the breaker for 2 - 3 minutes and reconnecting power. If this reset does not revert the unit back to normal operating function, this will require service by a qualified technician.
