Lower Spray Arm Ends Keep Melting
on February 4, 2026
Posted by: Bob11ACR
Purchased this dishwasher along with all GE or GE Profile appliances in September of 2025:
- Refrigerator
- Washer
- Dryer
- Stove
- Stove hood
- Microwave
Lower spray arm ends keep melting presumably due to contact with the heating element. It used to have a thermal protection on the ends of the spray arm it seems - read that as a piece of metal - but no longer. As it spins it will make a racket so you will know what the issue is when your time comes. Have replaced it once under warranty, replacing again and having new one or maybe multiple new ones sent since this wil happen over and over again as long as I own it. Other than this issue which really inhibits the lower spray arm, it's a pretty decent dish washer.
Other appliances in this purchase, stove had display replaced already as it was crooked, allowing light on one end to "leak" through. Hood was already replaced and tossed as it was essentially useless with only one motor and on the very far left side so zero - and I mean zero - pull on the right side due to it being low profile and only one motor. Guess where the largest burner is on the stove...right front.
Trying to buy American and all that but have to say, so far not a great start

Dries Dishes
on February 3, 2026

This is the first dishwasher I have had that truly dries the dishes! One suggestion is for the app to allow users to start the cycle because the start button is somewhat difficult to press when the dishwasher is closed.

To start the cycle after having selected your wash cycle and options, press the Start pad and close the door within 4 seconds. The wash cycle will begin shortly thereafter. That said, we do value your feedback regarding the app and will share with our teams.

Worse dishwasher ever created. Leaves dishes soaking wet unless you dry them for 2 to 3 hours. Highly recommend not wasting any money on this pile of useless parts

Not user Friendly

The machine only works on one cycle. Sometimes it doesn't work and will just alarm every few minutes. After several attempts and a full day it worked holding it several seconds; that is what I had been doing. It seems to try and force you to use the APP. I do not need a dishwasher APP

This is what we love to hear! Congratulations on your new dishwasher! It really is a great appliance. The Built-In WiFi and the SmartHQ app make it super easy to connect, control, and monitor from anywhere. The Piranha Hard Food Disposer lets you use your dishwasher without pre-rinsing! It's a great machine all around!

This dishwasher is great! It cleans well and is quiet. I like that I can set it for a delayed start so that it’ll clean while I sleep.

Thank you so much for sharing your review. We're glad that you are enjoying your new dishwasher. We love the quiet performance and features. Our favorite being the "Dry Boost" which outperforms standard heated-dry dishwashers by getting hard-to-dry items like plastics up to 3 times drier.

Flimsy piping/interior

Plastic piping is flimsy. Plastic jets attachment came off in less than a month. Using zip ties to keep everything secure. Draws seem cheap and flimsy.

Brand new dishwasher leaked all over floor
on January 12, 2026
Posted by: Luciacat
We just moved into our brand new home We have been buying GE Appliances for 40 years, and never a problem. Our brand new dishwasher just leaked all over our kitchen floor. Waiting for the outfit it was bought from to find out why. Our plumber said the seals in the dishwasher are bad. Not very happy right now. They don't make things like they used to.
Response from geappliances.comBy TierraGE_AppliancesJanuary 15, 2026
