We replaced our roughly 15 year old ge profile with a new GE profile & they are not remotely the same. To begin, the first two that arrived were faulty. The first one had a faulty relay & the second one a faulty pump. Now that we have a working unit installed, it leaks & doesn't always open the soap reservoir during the wash cycle. We should have gone with a different brand. I'm giving 2 stars because it works "most of the time."
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
