ALL GE appliances are not American Quality anymor

DO NOT buy or even get it for free. Lowest quality product. From day 1, very first use, leaked from bottom right corner of the door and even after getting it repaired, it leaks a lot. The door panel is flimsy like an aluminum foil stuck to a door, that thin. There is definitely Haier imposed cost cutting which has compromised the original GE quality and reliability Six Sigma processes. Stay away from ALL GE appliances

We want to help with the dishwasher leaking from the door. On a new dishwasher, the door gasket requires several complete wash cycles to properly seat and form a tight seal. We also recommend checking that the dishwasher is not coming into contact with adjacent cabinetry, as this can prevent the door from sealing properly. Additionally, inspect the door gasket for any signs of damage or improper installation. Very happy with this machine. It is very quiet and cleans effectively. The drying is average as I still had residual fluid in upside down cups. Love the options for settings and remote feature. Install directions could have been more complete, but since panel ready I would guess a contractor usually is installing so maybe not needed for them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am disappointed in the way the door of diswasher flops down when opening. The materials inside the washer are much lighter weight materials than our previous GE Profile, not as strong and sturdy.
Worried about other aspects of the washer where cutting expenses to manufacture may cut the life of the machine.

Unsure of extra parts

The dishwasher is nice and quiet but there are extra parts I do not know wheee they honor what they are used for. The door to the dishwasher is light but feels almost cheap, kind of slams open when opening it. Dishes come out nice and clean.

The dishwasher is very problematic. The top tray for the glasses keeps falling from it’s rail and it takes long time to put it back and to operate. Looks like very low quality

We'd like to assist with your dishwasher's upper rack falling off of the rail. It's extremely important not to overload the upper rack with dishes. Overloaded racks will prevent the rack from gliding smoothly and cause the rack to come off the rail. Our dishwasher upper racks are life-tested to handle a 30 lb. load; Lower racks are tested to handle a 50 lb. load.
