The best phone I've had in years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For what I spent, I thought I was getting a dud. I'm so impressed with my galaxy a17. The screen is crystal clear. The overall structure is great. I drop it a lot. Not a crack or dent in sight. Only con is no earphone port.

The phone operating system keeps crashing'

One of my favorite features is the large 6.7-inch display—it’s bright, clear, and perfect for streaming videos, scrolling social media, and even light gaming. The colors look great thanks to the AMOLED screen, and everything feels smooth with the 90Hz refresh rate.
I also like how the phone integrates Galaxy AI, which makes simple things like searching, editing photos, and organizing content feel easier and more intuitive. It’s helpful for everyday use without feeling overly complicated.
Battery life is another big win. The 5,000mAh battery easily lasts me a full day, even with regular use like texting, watching videos, and browsing.
The camera is decent for the price. The 50MP main camera takes clear pictures in good lighting, and it’s nice having multiple lenses for different shots, even if they’re more basic.
That said, it’s not perfect. The performance can feel a little slow at times, especially when multitasking or running heavier apps. It’s fine for everyday use, but not ideal for heavy gaming or power users.
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy A17 is a great option if you want an affordable phone with a big screen, good battery life, and useful features like Galaxy AI. It’s not the fastest device out there, but for the price, it offers really good value.
