This product is amazing!¡!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my phone for work so it's on me 24-7 I just love how I can so easily with the press of my finger instantly start recording my notes and dimensions for what I need on the job. The voice command is awesome, it learns my voice and learns me quickly so it's not a complicated stressfull nightmare. I can easily very quickly take my notes and go to the next job to bid or make a material list. I'd be lost if I didnt have my phone at work, extremely ecstatic about my Galaxy A 17 5G!¡!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone has a major issue. If you have more than 2 apps open it is super sluggish. And the system ui stops responding and you have to restart the phone.

Greeting Bossdad,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with your Galaxy A17 5G. The design certainly makes a strong impression, and performance is crucial for maintaining an enjoyable experience. The Galaxy A17 5G is designed for multitasking, and with the right mix of apps and updates, it can feel much more fluid on a daily basis.
To keep track of your device's performance, you can use the Device Care feature. This tool provides an overview of your battery, storage, and RAM. You can also automatically optimize your phone or tablet for faster and better performance. The Quick Optimization feature enhances performance by identifying apps that consume excessive battery power. It clears unneeded items from memory, deletes unnecessary files, scans for malware, and closes background apps.
Optimizing your phone is quick and simple. Just go to Settings, swipe to and tap on Device Care, then tap “Optimize now,” and finally tap “Done.”
Please check out our insightful resource linked below on how to keep your device running smoothly right from the Settings menu. We value your feedback. Thank you for being a part of the Samsung community!

A good mid-level phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good phone, with very good battery life. The memory is lack luster and has some issues running tasks such as Google Ai. And other built in apps and processes. Have set the memory to boost at 4gb with an extra high speed 64gb memory card, and still has some issues loading apps and running tasks. But all in all it works well. Haven't had any other issues than what I've said.

Get its hot real fast while on apps.
on April 8, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When ever I play games or scroll my galaxy gets hot. I could take it to the store and they say, theirs nothing wrong with the battery. I used to LOVE Galaxy phones, but Galaxy 16 and 17 they suck! If I could keep buying phones like I do with gas, I'd chose the A sires.

Howdy Tdog91,
Thank you for sharing your experience with your Galaxy A17 5G device. Noticing warmth during heavy use, such as gaming or extended scrolling, is normal because the device works hard to keep everything running smoothly. Galaxy phones are designed to balance performance and efficiency, which is essential for keeping apps running seamlessly. Whether you're using a phone, tablet, smartwatch, or earbuds, all Galaxy devices operate optimally within a specific temperature range.
While these devices may feel warm under certain conditions, such as when charging, this does not affect their lifespan or performance. However, if your devices become too warm, it could be a cause for concern. Although Galaxy devices may occasionally get warm, they are equipped with safeguards that alert you and protect the device if its temperature exceeds the normal operating range.
Several factors can contribute to increased temperature, including using multiple apps for an extended period, running processor-intensive applications such as gaming or GPS tracking, charging with a non-Samsung, incompatible, or defective charger and USB cable, or during system or firmware updates.
If the device overheats, it will take steps to cool down. You can continue using your device, but you might notice the screen dimming, performance slowing, charging pausing, and some apps closing automatically. Once the device cools down, its performance will return to normal automatically.
For more information on how to keep your device operating at a normal temperature, please see the article linked below. We appreciate you being a Samsung customer.
