To monitor your device's performance, you can utilize the Device Care feature. It provides an overview of your battery, storage, and RAM. You can also automatically optimize your phone or tablet for faster and improved performance.

The Quick Optimization feature boosts your device's performance by finding apps that drain too much battery. It also frees up memory, deletes unnecessary files, scans for malware, and closes background apps. Optimizing your phone is fast and easy.

To do this, go to **Settings**, swipe to and tap **Device Care**, then tap **Optimize now**, and finally tap **Done**.

Decent: serves basic purposes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the Samsung Galaxy A17 while it was on promotion through Google Fi. I have had the phone roughly a month. Previous experience with Samsung Galaxy S21, so not too much of a difference personally. Setting the phone up was a breeze, overall functional product. Phone does display an error of the iOS being non responsive and asks to close or wait. A little frustrating when it occurs. Galaxy AI is good, use it a lot for my job when I come across things I need assistance with. Over performance is 4 of 5 stars. Would recommend phone to others.

Any application or internet service i choose to use, it delivers very fast. Also Galaxy AI has been amazing. I have so much storage in this phone. Which is also wonderful. I would recommend anyone to purchase a Samsung Galaxy A17 5G as their personal device. I know in the future I will be a loyal customer to Samsung galaxy. Thank you!

By default, your phone operates under a Standard performance profile, which balances processing speed, battery life, and cooling efficiency. However, you can switch to Light mode, which prioritizes battery life over processing speed. To do this, go to Settings and tap on Device care. Then, select Performance profile and choose Light.
