[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had nothing but trouble trying i get this phone, sim card to make calls. Tells me my metro doesn't show phone calls. After dialing a number about 10xs or will finally go thru. Other than that, it's a decent phone.

Response from Samsung USBy R&R, August 18, 2026
Hey there BuzzyWuzzy,
Thank you for choosing the Galaxy A17 5G and for sharing your experience. Its spacious display, 5G connectivity, and reliable battery make it a practical choice for everyday communication and entertainment. We’re glad to hear that you find the phone decent overall, but we understand how frustrating it can be when you repeatedly experience concerns placing calls through your carrier.
Based on your description, it seems that your outgoing calls are being rerouted. We recommend that you contact your carrier and explain the situation to them. They will guide you through the necessary steps to resolve the network issues causing your calls to be rerouted.
We hope this information is helpful. Your feedback is valuable and helps Samsung continue to improve the Galaxy connectivity experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the samsung A17 compared to my previous Motorola. It operates so much fast and the safety features are far more intricate. In the end I will always have that option. I choose Samsung everytime.
