[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Samsung Galaxy a17 5g the user interface crashes alot it struggles to doing basic functions like email let alone Facebook or Snapchat. I Haven't tested the galaxy Ai due to phone clutching out on a regular basis

From the Home screen, tap on "Apps." 2. Tap "Settings" (you may need to swipe left or right to find it). 3. Tap "About device." 4. Tap "Software update." 5. Tap "Update." If the app continues to crash frequently after the software update (or if no update was available), please continue reading. - **It could be a problematic app.** Some third-party apps are better developed than others. Works great as a phone!

Hiya Burr77, Thank you for your honest feedback. The Galaxy A17 5G is designed for reliable everyday use, and your insights on speed emphasize the importance of performance. Is your device becoming glitchy or slow? You can improve its performance by cleaning up its memory. To do this, go to Settings, swipe to find Device care, then tap on it. Next, tap Memory, and select Clean now to free up memory by stopping background apps. If you want to keep certain apps running in the background, you can select Excluded apps and add your preferred apps to this list so they remain open when using this feature. Additionally, you can use RAM Plus, which uses some of your phone's storage to provide up to 8GB of virtual memory. In Device care, tap Memory, then RAM Plus, and ensure the switch is on. Choose the amount of GB you'd like to allocate, then tap Restart when prompted to apply your new settings. Inactive apps will be moved to virtual memory, freeing up RAM for the apps you're currently using. This can significantly improve overall performance and give your device the boost it needs. Dont buy This product is Glitchy and Staggers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im old so i use a phone for a phone and dont download any high memory usage apps. Phone takes forever to just open the camera app. It reboot all the time for no reason and is slow. Missed calls because the phone barely works. It's just black screen and wait 30 secs just to get to home screen.

Software updates function like oil changes and tune-ups for your phone; they help keep everything running smoothly. Updates also enhance the user interface, improve security, and resolve minor bugs. We recommend updating your software whenever a new version becomes available to ensure that your device remains in optimal condition.
If a system update is available, please install it to keep your phone operating smoothly. However, be aware that during the update process, your device cannot be used, and files will be temporarily inaccessible. You also will not be able to make calls, even to emergency services. Additionally, you may notice some differences in the device's interface once the update is complete.

This phone does what I need.
