The camera and the dual app is my favorite feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The reason why I chose Samsung for my main primary phone brand is because of all the features and the compatibility it has I've been a big fan of the Galaxy Note when it first came out and ever since then I have not left Galaxy I think it's one of the best phones and a compatibility it has with household items like refrigerators security cameras TVs and everything it's like walking into my house and controlling every feature I love it makes me feel like I'm living in a Jetsons world

Doesn't work as well as I wanted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the Galaxy A17 for a bit now and it honestly doesn't work as well as I hoped. I constantly experience lag and buffering that has nothing to do with my service it doesn't matter if i use data or wifi I'll still experience the worst lag and buffering. I'll even get a message saying my system isn't working and my phone will just shut off. It was like this straight out the box. I've been a Samsung user forever now and never had a bad experience till I got this phone.

As a longtime Samsung user, we appreciate your feedback about lag, buffering, system messages, and unexpected shutdowns from the start.
To address severe lag, freezing, and system crashes on your device, it's important to rule out potential system file corruption or overloaded background processes. Since your phone shuts down completely after displaying a "system isn't working" error (related to System UI or Android System), the issue is internal and not due to your network connection.
**1. Wipe the Cache Partition (Highly Recommended)**
When a phone crashes or shuts down completely, it is often because corrupted system files build up after software updates or sudden crashes. Wiping the cache partition removes these temporary files without deleting your personal data. Here’s how to do it:
- Turn your phone completely off.
- Connect your phone to a computer or plug in type-C headphones via the USB-C port (Samsung requires a wired connection to enter recovery mode on newer software versions).
- Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons simultaneously.
- When the Samsung logo appears, release the buttons. You will see a black screen with yellow/blue text (Android Recovery Menu).
- Use the Volume Down button to highlight "Wipe cache partition."
- Press the Power button to select it. Move down to highlight "Yes" and confirm with the Power button.
- Once finished, highlight "Reboot system now" and press the Power button.
Note: Android systems require at least 10% of their total storage space to be free for caching background memory. If your 128GB storage is nearly full, your processor may struggle, which can lead to forced shutdowns.
You can check your storage capacity under **Settings > Device Care > Storage**. If you’re running low, delete large video files or uninstall heavy apps.
Make sure your software is fully updated by going to **Settings > Software update > Download and install**.
If your system still shows errors and forces a hard shutdown even in Safe Mode, your operating system may be severely corrupted.

1. Back up all your important photos, contacts, and messages using Samsung Cloud, Google Drive, or the Smart Switch PC Tool.

Great budget level Galaxy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy A17 5G when my old phone a Galaxy S22 Ultra called it quits on me. I needed some budget friendly that did mostly the same things that the S series of Galaxy does and I landed on this baby.
It does everything the S series does but in HD instead of 4k. It's a little slower in speed but it works well with gaming, video calls, texting, multi-tasking, and taking photos. If you want a taste of Galaxy series of phones but are on a tight budget but need most the perks of a Flagship Galaxy phone. The Galaxy A17 5G is the phone for you.

Excellent operating system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the galaxy a17 because of my past experiences with galaxy. They're great phones plenty of memory and speed. The only thing I feel they could be improved on is adding hands free features like the shake flashlight or twist for camera. Other than that great phone. Oh and they're pretty durable which is a must for me being so clumsy.
