[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My galaxy device is very user friendly.which is very important to someone like me at age60.the camera is easy to take selfie or videos which I took a lot of 9n my last cruise vacation this past month and because I was traveling internationally i was able to stream my favorite shows and had excellent wifi service! I use this phone basically as my computer because I lost everything in hurricane ian my home all my possessions,my car and also my dog drowned while I was trying to escape my home when the storm surge took my dog.but I love samsung produ to for their reliability ,easy to use features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Samsung Galaxy a17 5g the user interface crashes alot it struggles to doing basic functions like email let alone Facebook or Snapchat. I Haven't tested the galaxy Ai due to phone clutching out on a regular basis

If your Galaxy phone or tablet freezes or crashes, it can be quite frustrating. The good news is that this issue can often be resolved without having to send your device in for service. Simple actions like rebooting and updating the software can help prevent freezes and crashes in the future.
If your device only crashes while using a specific app, please follow the steps below first, as you may not need to perform a factory reset. There are several potential causes for an app crashing frequently on your Samsung Galaxy device, and the troubleshooting steps below may help. Before proceeding, however, please update your device's software, as this may resolve the issue. (Note that the following steps may vary slightly depending on your Galaxy device):
1. From the Home screen, tap on "Apps."
2. Tap "Settings" (you may need to swipe left or right to find it).
3. Tap "About device."
4. Tap "Software update."
5. Tap "Update."
If the app continues to crash frequently after the software update (or if no update was available), please continue reading.
- **It could be a problematic app.** Some third-party apps are better developed than others. Check the reviews for the app in the Google Play Store or Samsung Apps to see if other users, particularly those with the same Samsung Galaxy device, are experiencing similar crashes. If this is the case, consider contacting the app's developer for bug fixes tailored to your device. Works great as a phone!

Phones are a little slow

Thank you for your honest feedback. The Galaxy A17 5G is designed for reliable everyday use, and your insights on speed emphasize the importance of performance. Is your device becoming glitchy or slow? You can improve its performance by cleaning up its memory.
To do this, go to Settings, swipe to find Device care, then tap on it. Next, tap Memory, and select Clean now to free up memory by stopping background apps. If you want to keep certain apps running in the background, you can select Excluded apps and add your preferred apps to this list so they remain open when using this feature.
Additionally, you can use RAM Plus, which uses some of your phone's storage to provide up to 8GB of virtual memory. In Device care, tap Memory, then RAM Plus, and ensure the switch is on. Choose the amount of GB you'd like to allocate, then tap Restart when prompted to apply your new settings. Inactive apps will be moved to virtual memory, freeing up RAM for the apps you're currently using. This can significantly improve overall performance and give your device the boost it needs.
