It's slow freezes alot keyboard is not responsive

Base model still better than other brands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I depend on and rely on my galaxy for day to day life and it's fast enough to keep up.othets have tried but failed I just try not to get in trouble with it because it's end of a mobile computer to step on uncle Sam's infrastructure which I would not mess with (sorry guys) I'm a full blooded and proud to be an American born and raised in the fast pace of California u.s.a. if that's not fast pace and fast pay then tell me what is. I have all kinds of AI in my phone trying to help me so much so they're stepping on each other's toes good job girls keep it up daddy needs a new pair of shoes...

This product has some Good and some Bad!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Some of it's best qualities, in my opinion, are important qualities for a phone to have! The Galaxy AI feature is amazing and works beautifully! Also, even though I had No Idea until it was submerged under water, it's actually water proof! After being under water for at least 10mins it still works perfectly fine!
If it wasn't for some minor issues with it running slowly and occasionally cutting off I would give it a 5 star review, and that's saying A LOT coming from Me!
This phone isn't indestructible but I have realized that it doesn't break or crack as easily as other phones I've had did!
It has an amazing battery life and takes forever to die no matter how much I've used it or how bright the lighting is on it!
It also charges pretty quickly when it does need to be charged! Mine goes from 0% to 100% in less than an hour!
It's smart view feature works like a dream and the color contrast is beautiful and vibrant!
I Love watching tv shows on it and playing games! It makes the features and pictures look so much better!
The accidental touch feature also comes in handy, especially if Your like Me, and You usually have Your phone in Your hand or pocket all day long!
I would definitely recommend this phone to anyone who asked Me and I have already recommended it to Famy and Friends as well as gotten one for My Husband and 15yr old daughter!
So, if Your looking for a new phone and/or Your undecided on this one...Go ahead and get it...You won't regret it!!!

Please keep in mind that your device is water-resistant, but not completely waterproof. An IP rating, or Ingress Protection rating, is a universally recognized measurement for dust and liquid resistance. Most newer Galaxy phones and the Tab S10 have an IP rating of at least IP52, which means they can withstand dust and some liquid exposure without worry.
The Galaxy A17 5G has an IP54 rating, indicating it can tolerate some exposure to liquids. However, exercise caution. For more information on how IP ratings work and details about dust resistance, please refer to the link below.

How to Properly Use an A17

To all of the people who don’t know how to use this phone within its confines respectfully, leaving all these bad reviews as to why their phone is so slow: This phone is completely fine at what it does. It is a cheaper phone sure, doesn’t have the same things that make a Galaxy S2whatever good at handling all the apps you throw at it. Quit overloading this thing with apps. It’s meant to get the very basic job done of calls, texts, email, basic internet tasks, video, music streaming sure yeah whatever. But when you overload it with 10+ social media apps plus another 20 games you just HAVE to play, that drains the RAM to nothing, when this phone only has 4GB to begin with… all that stuff runs in the background and kills the RAM and processor, of course it’s gonna be slow… If you’re going to get this phone, it will get the job done. Delete the bloatware, quit overloading it with apps you don’t need. Get the 6GB RAM variant instead if you need the extra boost. Use a computer, or tablet, or something else that’s not this for your social media and games….for Pete’s sake…. This phone is fine. Adapt to it before you bash it.
