My previous light weight vacuum was cordless but the battery didn't provide enough power as the battery got old. The cord is long enough to vacuum a good size room. Also, I love the blue color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The featherweight vac is easy to use. I purchased it for my mother who is in her 90's and the ease of use is important. It is light and easy to handle and also to empty the dirt bin The biggest drawback is the cord. The cord is short and you need to either use an extension cord or continually find an electric outlet to move it to. Overall, it does the job for short quick cleanup.

Sorry to hear this, Denise. The FeatherWeight is our lightest weight stick vacuum designed for small areas and quick cleanups. It works best on hard floors because it doesn't have a brush in the foot.
