[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the Bissell featherweight for years. I clean condos, so it's important for me to have something easy to tote around, yet strong enough to vacuum up all the sand, hair, etc. I love my older model, it's perfect. I don't know why y'all changed it to where it will no longer lay down flat to vacuum underneath surfaces. It won't vacuum up anything underneath a table, bed, stool, etc., unlike the older version. Such a disappointment! I've had to switch back to my old one, although I've had to rig the handle that is broken,, because I've been using it for so many years. Please go back to the old model that is usable underneath surfaces.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This little vacuum rocks. It is so cool. I don't know how i lived and cleaned without it. The cord is perfect length for me. It's easy to assemble into its various forms. I enjoy this thing so much. You would be surprised how much dust and dirt it picks up daily. It's great for rugs because it doesn't suck up the whole rug but it cleans it alot. Works great on carpet and laminate floors. I even vacuum cobwebs off my ceiling cause it's light and works well. If you vacuum with it slow, it picks up alot of dust, dirt and hair. I'm very happy with my purchase. I just ordered an extra dirt cup or 2 because I want to keep it working at its best. I'm thinking of purchasing one for my mother-in-law because she complains about how heavy her regular vacuum is. I know she would just love this!! Enjoy your day!! :-):-)

Out with the old, in the new! This is my second stick vacuum. Wore the first one out. With 3 dogs,on a farm, all hardwood floors in the house, I use this every day! Love it ! So light, with lots of power, makes cleaning a breeze.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Bissell's lightweight stick vacuum! I'm more inclined to do a vacuum, it's less of a task than a heavier vacuum. Just pull it out of the closet and you're free to get to work. While holding it in your hand you can pull off the attachment and it's a handheld vacuum to quickly do higher places. The wire is a little short for a big room and the collection cup is small and must be emptied frequently but that far outweighs the comfort and ease it makes a cleaning task. I bought it for a friend with arthritis and it is helping a lot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is at least my 5th purchase. These are wonderful - lightweight, easy to store, great on bare floors and they work on carpeting too. The secret is to keep the cup cleaned out, then the suction is good. I had one 20 years ago, then bought a second to keep upstairs. Then I bought one for my elderly father, and bought another for my sister who is disabled, because they are light. I just bought this one because I moved. I also love that the floor piece is removable and then it is hand held, and I take the handle off too and use it to clean my car with the long, skinny attachment. A great buy all around!
