I use to vacuum my studio apt. with wooden floors that is covered with 2 medium and 3 small carpets. I have 2 cats. I vacuum more often then I did when I used a more powerful vacuum; but don't mind because it is so much easier to handle. It picks up the hairs very well. The chord could be a little longer, and the balance could be better; but I am so happy with the machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The vacuum works well and it never loses power because it is corded, thank goodness. The cord is long enough to reach all of the way to the areas I need to reach. This thing is also truly light.
