Love this little machine!!

This is the greatest little machine (especially for the price). I don't often post reviews but had to in this case. As mentioned, it is very light weight. I have a cat and it is great for cleaning up cat hair. Because I read the other reviews, I empty it over the garbage can in my garage - no problem. As for the length of the cord, I just added a 6' extension cord and it reaches all areas of my kitchen, 2 foyers and a bathroom without unplugging & moving. It is really good for sprucing up between major cleaning jobs. Thanks Bissell for a great & thrifty product.

This stick vacuum is great for the price. It vacuums up very well on my tile floors. Picks up good on the carpet too but harder to push. The handle came out a couple of times though.

I have also found it to be useful in a myriad of situations, both overhead, and on the floor. It is simple , light and quick. In addition to cobwebs, cat sand, and screens, I have now found it very useful for picking up my hair BEFORE I use my new upright. My hair is down to my waist and it's everywhere so it gets caught in the the beater bar of the upright and I have to stop to cut my hair out every time I smell the rubber belt burning. I just do a quick once over with the FeatherWeight and then am able to use my upright for the deep clean. I clean the dirt cup of the FeatherWeight by removing the handle and placing the whole unit in a plastic bag. I then separate the dirt cup from the motor, empty it into the bag, and with rubber examination gloves, clean the filter. I then take a disinfectant cloth to clean the cup inside and out, dry it with a paper towel, and put the vacuum back together. I remove my gloves, dump them into the plastic bag, and very carefully tie the handles of the bag so I don't get a faceful of dust, and dump in trash bucket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product is good, but the design could have been better. The wheels were not that smooth while cleaning my wooden floor and removing the floor nozzle from vaccum is difficult, a small latch or button would have been better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a great vac for quick clean-ups as they state. I also use it to quickly sweep up bathroom floors and so on. It's really light, which makes it a great option for your cleaning arsenal. I love the versatility of it, it converts to a hand-held vacuum AND can be used with the floor attachment to sweep an entire floor. This is definitely worth it for the price. Honestly, I'm considering getting a second so that I have one upstairs AND downstairs!

I would pay more for a strong motor. If you come up with this style and color but with a strong motor for under $80.00 I would be interested.

Hi Ruth - thanks for your feedback. The FeatherWeight easily converts into three different machines. Use it as an upright stick vacuum on carpet and hard floors, use it as a hand vacuum on above floor spots like couches, and use it as a stair vacuum to make vacuuming stairs easier! It includes a crevice tool for furniture and a floor nozzle for stairs. i recently purchased the bissel feather weight vacuum to clean up after a child i watch, i was constantly getting my large vacuum out every day and sometime a couple times a day. this vacuum helps to make the job easier because it is light weight and picks up the mess of crumbs and dirt . very happy with it so far.
