My stepmom had one of these to clean all the tile floor in her house with and it was so great. My husband and I just moved out on our own in a house with a tile floor and I quickly realized I too needed one of these tools lol. I don't mind the short cord as I clean area by area, so I just vacuum a spot, then mop, then move on. Its awesome for everyday use as we have 2 cats so we need to clean everyday! I don't mind the dirt cup as it holds quite a bit, and we just rinse the filter, let it COMPLETELY dry then we are good to go. Then it transforms into a little handheld for up high and on counters and couches, nice little crevice tool! Overall I love this thing and for the price, it's a life saver :)

And it is. With the simplest operation I've found. Lightweight and a dream on vinyl floors. No dragging a big machine around because the beater brush won't clean on a vinyl floor. Pet hair gone; no aching shoulders from hauling around the big vac; one happy camper. That would be me.

Love this vac. I bought 2 of these one for upstairs, another for downstairs. It is light weight which makes it easy to grab for daily floor cleaning, but the floor cleaning attachment is easily removed so I can use the vac as a hand held. I like being able to lift it and quickly clean walls and ceiling. Goodbye cobwebs! The crevice tool lets me make quick work of baseboards and HVAC vents. Because it is so light weight I can also vacuum the stairs, before I had to sweep them because I feared losing control of my old heavy vac. This is a terrific vac!

I AM A VIETNAM VETERAN LIVING IN A 3 LEVEL TOWNHOUSE WITH A PET COCKATIEL SHE IS ALLOWED TO FLY AROUND IN THE HOUSE ALL DAY, CAUSING ALOT OF FEATHERS TO GET ON THE FLOOR BUT THE BISSELL FEATHERWEIGHT 3106-Q VACUUM DOES AN OUTSTANDING JOB GETTING ALL OF THE BIRD FEATHERS OFF THE CARPET. Don't pick up well

The prior model works better than this . This does not sucks up dirt quickly n the hair comes up all together outside the suction part . For short the hair does not suck all the way inside. Also there is a very tiny small rubber particles that comes out of the hole I did not check where it is comin from. The older model before this works fine but not this .

Common static cling can cause the hair and dirt to stick to the outside of this unit, or any vacuum. You can take a laundry static sheet and rub it on the unit to minimize this.

I have used the Bissell Stick vacuum for probably 25 years or more. I use it on my hardwood floors, to clean out tiny crevices in the sliding glass door, it works great for cleaning out the spider webs in the window wells of the basement, to clean under furniture, and have even used it to vacuum the mats in my car. Because it is so light weight, I use it to vacuum the windows blinds and the cobwebs in the ceiling corners. We adopted two kittens two years ago and the Bissell has met the challenge of all the cat hair as well as the bit of messy kitty litter the cats leave outside their litter box. We just purchased our third Bissell Stick vacuum for somewhere around $30.00 and will continue buy them for as long as they are available. You truly cannot beat the price for the service they provide.
