I live in a very small space with multiple surfaces and needed something with power which I haven't found in the past with small stick vacuums. This one has plenty of power, easy to use the handivac feature and stores easily. The only complaint is that the cord could have been longer as I live in an older house with few outlets.

I finally bought a lightweight vacuum that I love. I wanted a lightweight that was easy to carry around and do quick clean-ups and I was not about to get another hand-held. Although, I do have a hand-held from Bissell that works awesome, BUT, this one is so easy on my back, no more bending down or on my knees. Of course, I love that it is corded, the cordless ones in my experience never last. I actually find myself wanting to use it more often! Thanks Bissell for another good product!

I have 3 of these vacuums (one for each level of my house and the garage). Love it since it is very lightweight and easy to use. My only negative is the "bagless" feature is rather messy when emptying the container. Works great on both hard surfaces and low pile rugs.

While the suction power is fairly good, this is a poorly designed lightweight vacuum. When emptying the dirt container, the filter (attached to the vacuum) is exposed, causing dirt and debris to fall onto the floor. Because the filter and container are two separate pieces, two hands are required to hold each piece, making it extremely awkward to prevent the debris from falling away from the filter. There is also no other way to remove the filter for cleaning without getting dirt and debris all over hands and clothing. When not in use, it will not stand upright with or without the floor nozzle attached, causing it to fall over frequently. The location of the cord on the back of the vacuum makes it awkward to loop the cord around the cord wraps. I find myself filthy and frustrated each time I use the Featherweight vacuum.

This is our second one of this model. The first lasted 9 years of almost daily use. It's not meant for carpet, but does a great job cleaning hard tile or wood floors and is light enough a small kid can use it easily!

I bought this in mind for our tile and lamenate floors. We love it and the price was right. It does the job intended, picking up dog hair, dirt, small particles. We no longer take out our upright vacum to clean our house since we do not have rugs on our floors here in AZ. I would highly recommend this product, it has plenty of vacum power. I would recommend though that Bissell ponder adding a detachable brush head, and possibly consider lining the vac with a bag to avoid dust from leaking out. It is worth the purchase.
