We have taken this unit to Brasil, where we've found it very useful, as we did the first one we purchased. Easy to use, easy to store, and is used practically every day here. The first one is about 7 yrs old and except for a broken plastic part, is in use daily. For light to medium house-cleaning I don't think it be beaten! Very good product!

Works much better than battery powered sweepers

What a pleasure to have a sweeper with a good old fashioned cord, powerful and no fading halfway through the job, and no expensive batteries to replace. The only thing needed is a better way to release the stored cord from the unit, maybe a turn button of some kind. But the power and dependability make up for the cord!

This is my first and last "stick" vacuum because I'll keep it forever. It's lightweight, doesn't take up closet space, always handy, doesn't need charged and always easily available. No more sweeping hard wood and bathroom floors. I'm going to purchase 1 for each of my daughters.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quick Clean up for my hardwood floors without having to drag out the cumbersome central vac! I save that for the broadloom! I have also used the hand vac for "dusting" out the seldom used bathtub.

This little machine is great for anyone who sews or does crafts. Picks up all those loose threads and lint better than any big roller brush machine and cleans up gliiter in a snap. Great for fast pick up of pet fur and light cleanup. Have two of them, one upstairs and one for dowstairs. Have just purchased one for family member with tile floors. They too will enjoy what a great little vac this is. Highly recommend, especially for the sewing room.

This is my second FeatherWeight Vacuum from Bissell, and I can truly say, I love it. I have back problems and this is so light weight that I can vacuum my linoleum and hardwood floors easily. I hope I can always be able to purchase this product. Thanks, Bissell.

I am not impresssed with this stick vacuum. Unsure of the amount it picks up vs what is in the carpet/floor and the emptier cup is really hard to put back on when taken off to empty
