It is perfect for quickly cleaning hardwood floors and area rugs in my great room and kitchen. Being able to detach the hand held vacuum is so helpful for quick clean ups. We bought a second one so the older one can be used in the basement area.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this cordless vacuum-it's my third one (#sweepstakes); however, about every 2 years the battery life is so short I can only vacuum 1-1/2 rooms before it dies and needs recharging. So I purchase a replacement. Battery life needs to be improved.
