I bought this one, have used it several times on my carpets and kitchen and it's performed effortlessly and smoothly! It picks up those tiny, aggravating, spilled over kitty litter materials, which is exactly why I needed this vacuum the most. I hiiiighly recommend this cordless vacuum and am looking forward to using it for the next 6+ years! #sweepstakes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace my Bissell Bolt that died. The cordless Bolt had a floor charging stand that also held the accessories. This one has no place to store the accessories. I only had to lift the Bolt from the stand and it was ready to go. This one has a plug in the back that is hard to see. Have to lift the vacuum up and turn it over to see the outlet on the vacuum. Don't like having to unplug and plug this every time I want to use it. The ReadyClean has a different brush roller that does not do well on rugs unless you use high speed. The brush wraps my long hair around the bristles and I have to cut the hair off. The Bolt roller did not tangle with my hair or my cat's hair. The ReadyClean motor has a louder high pitched whiney sound that drives me crazy. And the most important difference is that my hand and fingers are unable to wrap around the removable hand vacuum part to push on the button that releases the dirt cup for emptying. I could hold the Bolt's handle and use my thumb to release the cup with one hand. Impossible to do this on the Ready Clean. I struggle even using two hands. The release button is in an awkward place. Please bring back the Bolt Pet. It vacuumed up the cat hair very nicely as well as my own hair and it was so much more convenient and easier to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell ReadyClean XRT Cordless Stick Vacuum is a fantastic vacuum! First it cordless, has a detachable hand vacuum, a swivel head, and the handle folds forward to clean under furniture and folds all the way down for storage compared to my other vacuum! It was very easy to assemble. I would definitely purchase and highly recommend The Bissell ReadyClean XRT Cordless Stick Vacuum.
