Solid Upright Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I used it several times in my home. We have a mix of tile and wall to wall carpeting, plus some throw rugs. We also have two dogs, a cat, and a 7-year old, so we've got hair and messes. This was easy to use, the swivel feature is great, and the retractable cord is easy to use, though it retracts quickly so keep an eye on little ones and pets so they don't get hit. It's so much easier though then re-wrapping a cord. I found it does a great job on all surfaces and really did suck up dirt and pet hair. The upright nature made it tough to get under our coffee table though, and to the middle underneath our bed (it's a king size). I also found the couch furniture attachment doesn't work as well as the machine we already had at home. This could be due to our couch material though. It's also a lot louder than more expensive machines. Overall -- this is a good vacuum particularly given the relative price point, and it's weirdly satisfying to see how well it's working with the clear canister!

After One Use and Im Sold! This vacuum picked up so much!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I was excited to try it! I have 3 small kids and a cat and feel that I walk around with a vacuum on my hip at all times. I spend a lot of time vacuuming and moping daily/weekly to up keep my home. My kids have sensitive skin & are often impacted by allergies so I need something I can feel confident picks EVERYTHING up. Unpacking this vacuum was super easy- for the size of the machine it is amazingly light. If you are like me and can't be bothered reading an instruction manual- this vacuum is for you. The assembly is extremely intuitive. Many of the products I use daily are cordless so I wasn't sure how plugging the vacuum is was. This machine has a very cool retractable cord spool. I recommend unwrapping it fully before starting so you don't pull it out from the wall and the retracting of the cord took seconds. The vacuum is so lightweight and glides over the carpet and hardwood seamlessly. It even handled my sometimes hard to vacuum washable rugs in my kitchen. It has a dial on the base where you can make adjustments for the surface of your floor and even thought the vacuum is boxy in design the head swivels effortlessly like it is on a ball! What shocked me was the AMOUNT of dust and hair it picked up considering I have vacuumed DAILY with a very expensive vacuum + had a cleaning lady here 3 days ago. Emptying the canister was also easy and intuitive! This vacuum doesn't have the high end frills that you may expect but I am starting to question if they are even necessary! I AM SOLD- this vacuum is the real deal - I already feel better about the amount of dust and dander this will pick up in my kids rooms & playroom!

Perfect for furry households

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a vacuum that would work well for hardwoods & rugs/carpets in a household with messy kids & furry pets. The Bissell cleanview swivel pet works beautifully & has excellent strong suction. My favorite feature is the ease of emptying the vacuum. Empty with just a touch of a button. It's also easy to tell when it's time to empty the canister due to the clear view. One thing to note is the knob to adjust carpet height vs. wood floors is way down low on the vacuum. I wouldn't recommend this vacuum to anyone who struggles to bend over or touch the floor. My 70 year old Mom couldn't reach the knob. The lever to start and stop the machine is also near the floor but it is conveniently foot operated. This vacuum is lighter weight than ones I've had in the past and that took me a minute to adjust to. Ultimately being lighter made it easier to put away and the suction power was far better than heavier vacuums I've operated. The attachments were handy for vacuuming furniture and tight corners of the room. All in all, a great vacuum cleaner. Thankyou to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this vacuum.

Shedding Doesn't Stand a Chance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the CleanView Swivel Rewind Pet Upright Vacuum through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I CANNOT say enough about this vacuum! We are a household with a German Shepherd, a Maine Coon cat and an orange tabby. When I tell you there's some shedding going on, I mean there's REALLY some shedding happening! It's all of the floors, the couches, the drapes, us...you get the picture. It has been rough trying to find a vacuum that could handle our house. The moment I took the CleanView Swivel Rewind Pet Upright Vacuum out, it was noticeably different.The cord was retractable/rewindable, which is an amazing feature! And it's so easy to use, with a button right by the canister just one push and the cord is hidden away. I love this feature! Another thing I thought was great was the bigger canister...it made the clean-up that much easier! I didn't have to keep stopping to empty it out in-between rooms, talking about efficient! Honestly though, if we want to get right down to the nitty-gritty, my favorite feature was the upholstery tool that attached to the extension wand. Talking about a miracle worker! The only time my couch looked better was when it was brand new. The great part was that it didn't take long at all to make it look like a million bucks! I'd be a fool to leave out the swivel feature, it makes vacuuming in tight spaces that much easier. This machine actually makes vacuuming fun and efficient. I had no idea what I was missing out on until I tried it!

Great vacuum for carpeted floors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I was really impressed with how well this vacuum performed on carpets, particularly considering how lightweight it is compared to other upright vacuums I've used in the past. It did a fantastic job maneuvering around and picking up a surprising amount of dirt, dust, and cat hair from our carpets. We have three school aged kids and two young cats, so there's always a need for cleanup somewhere. My favorite feature of this vacuum was the cord rewind function. The core rewind feature made it super easy to clean up and put away the vacuum when I was finished - no more cords constantly falling off the vacuum and needing to be rehung. My kids thought it was super cool, too. The extension wand and tools were extremely helpful to vacuum our front hall stairs, and were very easy to maneuver. I used the 2-in-1 dusting brush and crevice tool to get the dust and cat hair out of the stair crevices, which had honestly been a bit neglected, and the TurboEraser pet tool worked really well to tackle the cat hair from the stairs that the cats like to rub up against. I was also really pleased with how well the tools stayed attached to the tool holders. They fit snuggly and didn't fall off when I moved the vacuum around from room to room, which is a pleasant change from my old vacuum. The reason why I rated the vacuum 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that it didn't work as well on hardwood floors. I tried to use it to clean up a litter spill with both the upright vacuum and the extension wand, and I could feel pieces of litter flying underneath the vacuum and shooting out behind it. At first I thought it might have been that the hose wasn't attached properly or that I had it on the wrong setting, but I checked everything and it was all good. I think it may ultimately be the angle of the brush roll and vacuum base. This wasn't an issue on carpets - just on the hardwood floor. I received this vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Making life easier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All the added features made vacuuming a lot easier no matter what space it was in my home. I loved the ability to get into corners without having to move furniture in some cases and the wand. The wand made it easy to do stairs and hard to get places. One of the things I hate with an upright is winding up the cord, but with this automatic rewind feature I'm more likely to use this vacuum. Overall great experience. Thank you Stellar Testing Panel for letting me take part in this.

Amazing suction for dog hair

It's a bit heavier and bulkier than most modern vacuums and I originally had a hard time pushing it on carpet but after getting some used to, I fell in love. The suction is like nothing I have ever used when vacuuming dog and cat hair. I use the turboeraser pet tool on the couch and after I'm done there's not a strand of hair in sight. I will say it is VERY important to change the setting for carpet height otherwise you will get stuck on carpet and work up a sweat trying to push the vacuum. My only complaint is that the holder on the extension wand gets in the way when trying to get hard to reach places (such as under the couch or between things). The cord rewind feature is nice but doesn't make much of a difference for me personally as it never rewinds back in one shot without wiggling the cord some.

Cleanview Vacuum - on par with Dyson

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm in love with this vacuum! It's marketed towards pet owners but the benefits are for everyone. Some of the major selling points: - 5 levels of adjustability, depending on your floor type. I was able to use this on my hardwood, throw rugs, and regular carpet with the turn of a knob. - cord rewind feature - no worrying about wrapping or tripping over loose cords! - extension wand hooks and unhooks easily from the main vacuum. It's nice and light for reaching up high and down low. - great suction and it's easy to see when to empty. The empty function works well and doesn't get all the junk stuck inside. Honestly, this performs just as well as my Dyson pet (and is way lighter to carry up and down the stairs)! I will definitely be using this as part of my cleaning routine. Note: I was given this vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
