I would not purchase this vacuum

Cheaply made version of the 2021 vacuum, looks nice and does vacuum but it's a cheap downgrade version. Very pricey for the non quality item you get.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I hate it and I love it

We are hard on vacs at my house, where there are four pets and two adults with long hair. This vacuum can handle it all, however, it is the vacuum I love despite the fact that it is cumbersome, falls over easily, and constantly runs over its own cord. It maneuvers easily on my hardwood flooring, but vacuuming my rug is a full body workout. There is no setting that works. It's not a thick rug. I swear like a sailor when I use this vacuum, tugging, lifting.. This vac...I hate it and I love it. I abuse it. I overfill it, and yet it keeps on going. I may have an older version of this model, not sure. It's my second Bissell.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the suction this machine has. I vacuumed the day before I received this new vacuum and couldn’t believe how much more dirt it sucked up. I love everything about this vacuum except 2 things thus the 4 star rating. You cannot vacuum under beds and chairs well because the handle doesn’t move back far enough. I found out the hard way using the turbo eraser tool on steps that the brush roll continues to rotate which left a bad roll mark in my carpet. Sort of ate my carpet. After re reading the instructions manual I saw that you cannot turn that off. That should have probably been in bold print.
