Compact Machine That Tries Hard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a family of 4; 2 boys, 1 adult male, and myself. The 3 men in my life are, to put it lightly, PIGS! So, my carpets reflect that description. I have all sorts of junk on my carpets requiring me to vacuum, at least, once a day. I was quite happy to receive my Bissell Cleanview Compact Upright Vacuum (special thanks to the people at Bissell and The BzzAgent Sampling Program for sending me a free machine for this review). I was in need of a vacuum for my small 2 bedroom apartment. My first thought upon opening my package were," Wow, this thing is tiny!" It is comically small and I worried that it may not be up to the task of cleaning my carpets. Well, not for an extended period of time. So far, this little vacuum has done well. I've encountered zero problems. It's lightweight, easy to handle, and a breeze to dump all that it picks up. If I had one complaint, it would be a silly one; the cord is quite long, and doesn't really fit that well when you wind it up on the backside of the vacuum. Oh, and one more silly complaint, the attachments frequently and easily fall off the vacuum itself while vacuuming. It's annoying, but not a dealbreaker. The noise level is a bit loud but I'm not complaining because this little vacuum really works. It's picked up all that I've thrown at it thus far. Overall, a perfectly good, little machine.

It is compact which fits in most tight places while vacuuming the corners by taking the dirt and debris out. Light weight which makes it easy to maneuver and the suction power is second to none. I have apartments that I must clean out when people move out and this vacuum is the greatest. Small, compact, light weight, powerful suction, inexpensive. I have purchased this model for years and it takes years before I need a new one. Best deal for the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried Bissell before and they last long but this one after 3 months just blows air and scatters dust. Also, the chamber cap does not close well. It is trial and error, with multiple attempts. Had a small dirt devil similar to this in the past and it lasted 7 yrs so am dissapointed at the 3 months life span for Bissell.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
