the good the bad and the ugly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a wonderful starter vacuum! It is small but mighty! It did a fantastic job cleaning my floors. I could see this as being a great vacuum for a kids room when you are first trying to teach them to clean for themself, or to use along side an adult! It would also be great for a small city apt, where space is limited! I personally found the handle to be too short, and it's a little clunky. Feels kind of cheap, but it does a great job. I am perplexed as to why the top of the handle is just left open? It feels like I may have been missing a piece, or there was a purpose I was unaware of...overall it is small and mighty. Pretty basic, but will get the job done.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is light and picks up very good! We bought a new vacuum won't mention the name, it's not dull, two months ago. I had vacuumed the living room floor with the other one. Then vacuum with the Bissell and picked more stuff in the dust container. The other vacuum is known for it's practical lift away vacuuming. I had shoulder surgery about a year ago and couldn't push the other one because of it's weight. The only thing I don't like about the Bissell is the handle is too short. Next time when this wears out I'll buy the next Bissell model up.

Never buy another brand again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just had twins while preparing the room for them i used our old vaccum for the room that night the bissel came so i tried it on the floor and what i got disgust me. After the old vaccum i still got almost half a bin full of dirt dust and hair makes me think how long floors have been "cleaned" according to sub par vaccum we used to have.

Great Suction Power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was blown away by the ease of putting the Bissell Cleanview Compact vacuum together out of the box. The handle to the vacuum was the only thing that needed to be done. It also came with the upholstery brush and extended nozzle for corners. This vacuum has suction power that I couldn't believe. It really got down into the carpet and pulled, dust, hair, dirt, and pet hair from the carpet area. For a compact vacuum, it has great power. Another aspect that I loved about the vacuum, is literally every part of the canister, down to the filter can be washed. The parts dried quickly and reassembling the vacuum was an ease. Definitely grateful and happy with this vacuum.

Works Well. Cheaply Made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start off by saying that the Bissell CleanView Compact Upright Vacuum does do its job as a vacuum. It is lightweight, easy to use and works as intended. However, the first time I had to empty the canister, the little plastic tab that holds the canister in place broke off. This rendered the vacuum unusable because the canister would not go back into place. Luckily, my husband is very handy and was able to use velcro strips to hold the canister in place, so I am once again able to use the vacuum. Bottom line, it works, but needs a little more concentration on the construction aspect, as I'm sure I'm not the only one this has happened to.
I would recommend this to a friend!

High powered compact vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks Bissell for the free compact vacuum in exchange for my honest review! This compact vacuum is powerful for its size. It's very easy to use but not as maneuverable as stick vacuums. It's super convenient to dump the dirt, but the capacity is not very high due to the compact size. I needed to dump the canister after doing one room in my house. It's very light in weight which is great for carrying up and down all levels of my house. Overall, I like this vacuum for doing carpets in my house as it works better than the stick vacuum I usually use.

Small but great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I opened the box and I at first thought I was being pranked. It was so small. But then I plugged it and and dang!! The rug looked so good. I had just vacuumed with my old vacuum cleaner a couple days prior. I used this compact one and i got a full canister of dog hair and dirt. It is definitely light weight and compact. My daughter actually loves it too. She can vacuum and it's not too heavy for her anymore. The accessories work good, nothing too special on those. Long cord, which is great for not having to bend over and keep plugging in. Haha! All in all, a great vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this vacuum from BzzAgent for reviewing purposes. It's lightweight, easily maneuverable and has 2 attachments and the hose is able to be pulled up to get hard to reach places. It's an upright vacuum with a clear canister to see all the debris you've vacuumed and easily detaches to empty it's contents into the garbage. It's smaller than most vacuums of it's type but it's suction is powerful. I used my old vacuum just a day before getting this one and used it right away and couldn't believe the amount of stuff still in my carpets that this vacuum picked up. I'd definitely recommend for like smaller homes or apartments. If you have a bigger home, since the head isn't as wide as other vacuums, you do have to do more passes. There isn't a way to switch between carpet and bare floors so I don't recommend it for anything other than carpets. Overall it's got great suction, easily to move around and isn't heavy.
