[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This beats having to haul out the metal heavy upright and canister vacuums and the heavy hoses for both those vacuum styles. I get more tired from their use, than actually getting much cleaning done. And I fear being injured from tripping over them or dragging them through the house. I was dreading vacuuming the bedrooms and bathrooms as we all know there isn't much room in either to maneuver a large upright or large canister. Honestly, I just dread vacuuming. Bedrooms don't get much traffic, mostly just body dust. This little gem flattens out to get under our beds and no great effort to pick this up to reach the edges and corners of the carpet, and even dust surfaces and reach close small spaces with the rotating bar and hose tools. I just tested it out for 10 minutes after it arrived today, and it picked up the dust that cannot be seen on the surface. I like the no mess easy to empty dust cup to show me the result of the my and the vacuum's efforts. My larger upright Bissel still works, but it started screaming, so I set it aside. This replaces the ease that the larger one was with hose on board and could be lift off, but even that was still heavy. Maybe I can get the larger one fixed yet. I have no problem washing the filters and maintenance of these newer vacuum cleaners rather than buy bags and clean out cloth bags. The majority of the collection of vacuums (purchased new and used) that still work will be cleaned up and donated. My quest for the perfect vacuum at this stage of my life is complete. This would make a great gift for kids and elders and everyone in between.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BISSELL® CleanView® Compact Upright Vacuum is a must have! Seriously anyone looking for a lightweight but powerful suction vacuum, This is it! Plus it is affordable! Easy to clean! My hubby no longer complains about vacuuming when I ask him to. He is impressed with the suction. I vacuumed a small section in my living room and it picked up so much, I was in awe! I highly recommend this vacuum and my neighbors are also purchasing after I showed them in action.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a wonderful starter vacuum! It is small but mighty! It did a fantastic job cleaning my floors. I could see this as being a great vacuum for a kids room when you are first trying to teach them to clean for themself, or to use along side an adult! It would also be great for a small city apt, where space is limited! I personally found the handle to be too short, and it's a little clunky. Feels kind of cheap, but it does a great job. I am perplexed as to why the top of the handle is just left open? It feels like I may have been missing a piece, or there was a purpose I was unaware of...overall it is small and mighty. Pretty basic, but will get the job done.

Great Suction Power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was blown away by the ease of putting the Bissell Cleanview Compact vacuum together out of the box. The handle to the vacuum was the only thing that needed to be done. It also came with the upholstery brush and extended nozzle for corners. This vacuum has suction power that I couldn't believe. It really got down into the carpet and pulled, dust, hair, dirt, and pet hair from the carpet area. For a compact vacuum, it has great power. Another aspect that I loved about the vacuum, is literally every part of the canister, down to the filter can be washed. The parts dried quickly and reassembling the vacuum was an ease. Definitely grateful and happy with this vacuum.

Works Well. Cheaply Made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start off by saying that the Bissell CleanView Compact Upright Vacuum does do its job as a vacuum. It is lightweight, easy to use and works as intended. However, the first time I had to empty the canister, the little plastic tab that holds the canister in place broke off. This rendered the vacuum unusable because the canister would not go back into place. Luckily, my husband is very handy and was able to use velcro strips to hold the canister in place, so I am once again able to use the vacuum. Bottom line, it works, but needs a little more concentration on the construction aspect, as I'm sure I'm not the only one this has happened to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure about the vacuum at first. The opening of the box was super easy and there is hardly any assembly needed. You simply attach the hose to the bottom of the vacuum and then attach the handle and viola! The reason I was unsure of the vacuum was due to it's super lightweight! Omg this thing is feather light! It also has a convenient handle for when you're using the 2 accessory attachments, which by the way I love! The suction on this little booger is mind blowing! I have never seen a vacuum get such deep down dirt and dust out of carpet and I owned my own cleaning company for 15+ years! If anyone is aware of the higher end vacuums, this thing has better suction than a Miele! The filtration system on this vaccine is also A+++ there's so many filters and options on the vacuum to help prevent dust from going back into your homes air it's wonderful! I forgot to mention the best feature! The touch easy open canister on board! No more vacuum bags and since it's clear you can see exactly what your vacuum has been leaving behind! You'll be terrified when you do! And last but not least, the cord is super long and it's also lightweight.
