I LOVE this vacuum

Compact but powerful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you BISSELL! BISSELL sent me this free sample through the BzzAgent sampling program. I was a little skeptical when I first opened up the box as the vacuum was very light. I was expecting something a bit heavier but it was a good weight, and easy to lift and carry. Before receiving this vacuum I already had a Dirt Devil pet hair vacuum that works great. Comparing this BISSELL to the Dirt Devil, I was pleasantly surprised that it worked just as well if not a little bit better, and left my carpets feeling a little more fluffy than before. Given this could be due to the Dirt Devil being two years old, but I was still impressed. I have been using it the past couple of weeks and it works really well. It does have a smaller container for the waste that is vacuumed up which means you have to empty it more often. I have a dog that sheds a lot and when the container gets too full, sometimes it smells like the dog hair is burning. As long as I keep it from getting too full it doesn't have any issues. It is smaller than my Dirt Devil and takes up less space so it makes it a bit easier to store in the closet or wherever you end up putting your vacuum when not in use. I definitely recommend this vacuum to anybody needing a new vacuum. It is a strong vacuum that works well for basic vacuum needs and is at a good budget price for those tight on money.

It's super powerful and I absolutely love that it's small and compact, makes it easier to bring around my place. It is a little louder than my old vacuum but I honestly don't mind that. This vacuum is great for both carpet and hardwood floors. Already recommended this to everyone I know!

It could stand to have at least a foot longer hose or flexible extension hose to purchase. I really appreciate that it's lightweight when I don't need to lug around the heavier vacuums we have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Back in February, I bought this model to conveniently clean the carpet and vinyl floors near the litter boxes every day, when we adopted 2 young kitties (and to stow behind the door right there). Very easy to use. It was very effective at picking up the scattered litter and hair, and then I realized that it was vacuuming up an unbelievable amount of all manner of dirt from the carpet that our canister vacuum and roomba had not even touched over the years. (Because of this, I subsequently ordered a Bissell full-sized upright to use for whole house cleaning.) We are using ground walnut shell litter and I have to wash the vacuum's filter every week or two, but that is such easy maintenance and that means to me that the vacuum is capturing the dust rather than recirculating it. This little vacuum is also useful for vacuuming very small areas of carpet and vinyl flooring where full-sized vacuums will not fit. It may not be an all-purpose machine for everyone, however it does a really good job and is so easy to use.

Good starter vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this vacuum was powerful enough to clean my low pile carpets. I was hoping the cord would be a little longer to reach all corners of my apartment without having to unplug it, but it was a few feet short for me. Not a deal breaker! The machine itself feels a little cheap, but I think this would be a great vacuum for starting out or for a cabin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this Bissell clean view upright vacuum super quick and immediately tried it out. WOW! Easy to assemble, super lightweight, great design, and the suction on this vacuum is immaculate! This got the job done with perfectly. I hate to admit it but I thought my carpets and area rugs were clean, oh boy was I wrong. I have vacuumed twice and there is so much dirt, and dust that has been picked up. I'm still in complete disbelief that my floors look like they were professionally cleaned. I have never been able to make the vacuum lines and now ever room has them. I have recommended this product over and over within two days of having it! The air in my home smells super clean and I have a very hair Shih Tzu, dog, and you will never notice. As a pet mom I wanted a vacuum that would clear pet dander, hair, and smell and this does just that! I'm super geeked to have this as my vacuum now, thanks bissell!
