Used to clean up dirty carpets from mud to pet stains. The first cleaning took out the majority of the stain and the second completely dissolved it. It's easy to use and clean up. HIGHLY recommend.

Bissell made an excellent disposable unit. There is no way to clean the collection tank or the cleaning head. You have to replace these units. I mean seriously?!? The dirtiest parts of this unit and there is no way to disassemble them and clean them, your only solution is to replace them with new ones. While I like how it works, I would have paid a bit more to have a unit that I can clean and not constantly order new pieces to replace the old ones once they start to smell, and they will start to smell.

The only negative to the first one is that it is really hard to get the residual funk out of it. Hopefully this one will be better.
