I'm using this a lot! I have an old cat with bladder problems. I use this machine 3 to 4 times a day. It picks up the urine, stops the smell, leaves no stain. I'd like a 24" longer hose and wider cleaning brush. Lightweight makes it portable. Good suction.

This machine does not do much for old stains or soil on rugs or upholstery. Best for light cleaning.

I hate my roommate but I love the little green

This is the best cleaning appliance I have ever used in my entire life. My roommate completely destroyed my white couch by eating fudge pop, popsicles, and dripping chocolate all over. It was absolutely disgusting. Frankly our relationship will never recover from it however, I can bear to be around her because the little green got the stains out and my couch looks brand new.

The hose is too short and the handle will not stay

First of all I don't own any pets I purchased this to clean my couches and chairs. It does a good job at cleaning and leaves everything smelling refreshed so I love the way it performs. They're only two gripes that I have about the machine. The first one is that the hose is not long enough for couches that are very deep. It will not reach to the back of the couch I have to hold the machine in my hand in order to perform the job. The second gripe I have is that the cleaning nozzle on the end of the hose will not stay connected. There is a little tab that supposed to lock it in place but the tab is not staying locked in you can just pull it loose. That is a big problem for me because it will not stay connected I may try and contact the manufacturer and have them to send me a new part.

Haven't had luck with the suction on both machines

I purchased a little green carpet cleaner that did not have suction.I contacted the Bissell manufacturer about the issue. The help desk was very helpful and sent a replacement. However the replacement had little suction as well. The dirty water tank had no water in after the suction was used. I just don't think these are good products. Great idea and I wanted tit to work, but mine just didn't.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
