The Little Green® portable carpet cleaner is produced with a minimum of 50 percent recycled plastic. It contains plastics from a wide range of recycled products including, but not limited to: automotive parts, home appliances (refrigerator panels and air conditioners) or scrapped films. In addition to the 95 percent reduction of PVC used in Little Green®, the packaging contains a minimum of 50 percent recycled content.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat had a UTI and had an accident on our bed and I was convinced the mattress was a goner. In an attempt to save $1,000 on top of the pricey vet bill, a friend loaned me their little green. I had little to no faith and was already mattress shopping, but this thing saved my mattress! this thing is PERFECT for small spot treatments and really has excellent suction to pull the stains out of the fabric. I loved it so much I immediately went and purchased one myself. Works great on couches and I've even deep cleaned my car seats! 1000% recommend this product if you have kids and/or pets!

We've had our Bissell for about 3 years now, and I've never understood why I had to turn the sprayer over and use the other side upside down to suck up the extra moisture. After finally deciding to look online at the specs, low and behold, I'm missing the plastic attachment over the suction area!!!! Life could have been so much easier, couches cleaned in record time, dogs back to slumbering and slobbering upon them in hours not days!!! Just think of all the game shows I missed, all the facebook hours I have to make up, all the texting I am behind all because I didn't bother to read or look at the manual before cleaning.... and for shame, I am a woman. I hang my head. By the way, other than this, I loved using the unit. Scrubbing with the brush and using the unit to the best of it's limited ability really was great. SO I ask you, can I buy this part I need , or will I need to purchase the entire sprayer/extractor? Thank you o'wise and great ones!!!

Loses suction, becomes disposable.

Followed all the suggestions in the FAQ, but still can't get enough suction to remove the water in carpet and upholstery. However, while cleaning the machine, I discovered that it will suction water from a bucket like a champ. It just won't do what it's designed to do. It's not worth the investment to take it for service.

Well that's odd - if the machine's able to suction water from a bucket that should mean it's working. Is the surface you're trying to clean rather porous? Give us a call and we'd be happy to check and see if anything's wrong! 1-800-237-7691.

The Little Green Portable is the ideal solution for me. I used it to clean large area rugs on my hardwood floors. It requires minimal effort. Fill the water tank and away you go. We have three (always indoors) cats and this device is a necessity for us to deal with hairballs. We have had three different models in the past 15 years, and each was an improvement over the previous one. My only question is why the 'spray' has to be so wide in coverage? I would prefer a narrow band of water coming out. Nevertheless, this item is a real problem-saver for us.
