We use it for upholstery, mattresses, car upholstery and carpets and this little thing is amazing for the price. It says it's really only for stains but it can do a lot more than that m. We use it to fully clean all these surfaces and let me tell you it does the job.

I bought it for small area cleaning with two rescue dogs. But I have cleaned my entire rug with it (8 x10) it looks amazing. I wouldn't do this regularly though too big

I don't have any complaints, however I use a a brush and drill to scrub and mainly use this for its water suction feature. This is very portable and does everything I need it to. If anything goes wrong, I will not hesitate to order another one!!
