[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are a blended family with 4 dogs and 2 cats so I was very excited when I saw the tv commercial for the Crosswave Pet. I orderered one as soon as I saved up the money. It is an amazing machine and works even better than I thought it would. I use it on the hardwood floors, the lino in the bathroon, and the living room area rug. The Crosswave cleans everything better than anything I've ever used! I love how easy it is to use and how quickly the floors dry. The cleaning tray for the brush is brilliant. It really does pick up all the pet hair, kitty litter, dust and dirt.....just as advertised. It's a bit heavier than I expected but that's probably due to a strong motor. The size is good and I love how it can swivel. It is a bit trickier to clean than shown on tv. The catch basin gets hair stuck to the sides so not everything comes up on the trap. But I just rinse all the parts in a bucket and then pass the water through a paper towel covered old sieve. That way my drain won't clog. All the parts are easy to take apart and put back together once they dry. Oh, it's also got a nice long cord so I can clean a fairly large area without having to stop. The water and formula tank it a good size as well. All in all, I absolutely recommend the Bissell Crosswave Pet. I LOVE it. It has made cleaning my floors a breeze!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Who was the engineer who thought it was smart to design the brush head, for the Little Green Machine, to not come apart when gunk and debris get stuck and it is impossible to clean. I have tried everything? Also, the brush head doesn't slide on to the hose tightly anymore and I have had this item for a year and a half.

It's terrible. Spray malfunctioned in months, the one attachment is TERRIBLE on stairs, upholstery, car interiors, pet messes, pet beds, and dry stains. Tanks always leak, especially when carrying the clean water tank back to the machine, too heavy, too loud, and the hose and power cord are too short. Bad machine, so please don't buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being an avid pet fan dogs primarily I find it necessary to clean up after my playful puppy. Let's face it dogs get sick occasionally and this device makes the clean up very manageable,. This is my third unit in 25 years and this one is as good as the first. I love my Bissel.

We have tried everything from running gallons of water through, vinegar, baking soda, sucking bissell cleaner, the smell emitted from exhaust air from machine while in use is putrid. Empty tank after each use and clean head and hose as well as possible. Ours is an older version without the heat but the odor is awful. Any ideas would be great otherwise it is now useless.

Thank you for your review. We wouldn't recommend suctioning vinegar or baking soda in your machine; this may cause damage. If the BISSELL formula didn't help, you may want to check with a BISSELL Service Center for a maintenance cleaning.
