Faulty design - can not clean machine parts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does a pretty good job cleaning carpets, but you can't clean the cleaner! The brush inevitably gets dirt and grime in it (despite immediate rinsing following manufacturer instructions). The plastic piece should be removable for cleaning. Also, heaven forbid you don't clean the dirty water tank immediately. You can forget about ever getting that clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This thing is amazing! It cleans so well I had some lady stains on my mattress and I soaked it and it cleaned them all up. I do suggest letting the solution sit for 5 minutes it does make a difference! #sweepstakes

Never buy leaks everywhere

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought this machine because the good reviews out number the bad reviews. Read the instructions several times as New to me, but have used at someone else's house. When I sprayed with the trigger the hose part where it connects to the head sprayed out water and solution everywhere. Made sure it was connected it was. Okay then tried the other head same thing happened. So in conclusion my couch is soaked and the suction was terrible nothing but 2 Tbsp in the bad water. Will be returning and never will use Bissell products again.

Clean solution tank leaks badly

The part on the bottom of the clean solution tank leaks so bad I can't use that tank. I spray solution on the surface I want to clean and use the suction brush to clean the area. The suction power is amazing but it's such a leaky mess. I'm so sad that I gave one of these for a wedding gift and purchased one for myself. I hope they don't have the same issue that I have.

Very poolry designed

I bought a LGM thinking it would be helpful for small cleaning jobs on furniture, in the car, etc. The spray/scrubbing nozzle is designed so poorly that the cleaning solution sprays side to side and is virtually impossible to direct where you want and need it. I took the machine outside to the driveway to measure the spread of the solution spray and it was 3 feet left and 3 feet right with a large gap in the middle. I gave the stupid thing away.

Sorry about your first use with the Little Green. The 3" Tough Stain tool shouldn't do that and we could have replaced the tool for you. The Deep Reach Pet tool does spray sideways as it is mean't to be brushed into the carpet and then pressing the trigger to release the formula deep into the carpet.

Generally good, hard to keep clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does a good job of cleaning up spills, pet odor and urine etc. It's biggest flaw is that the carpet cleaning tool collects debris like dog hair inside and there's no useful way to clean it out. Really dissappointed that they didn't design the tool so that the plastic covering comes off. For the price, I would expect better engineering.
