Underwhelming & leaky

Wanted something for our apartment that could be used for the sofa & rugs. The machine went together well, but the clean water tank leaks via a hole in the plug/valve, irrespective of tightening. This leaves a trail of slick, soapy water behind the machine - or under it as you use it. It's also very loud: much louder than my Dyson vacuum cleaner. It did an OK job cleaning but not convinced it's much better than some good stain removal spray and a gentle scrub. The sofa is still damp hours later, even when going gentle on the spray.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The little green carpet cleaner is a very well engineered item and was honestly very impressed by it. When they were creating this they seriously thought about everything from how the hose will fit around the tank to how the brush and suction will work. I used it on my rug and sofa and it suctioned and cleaned both items very well. It's very powerful, super easy to clean, and put away. The little green comes with a sample size of the cleaning solution which was such a great surprise. I wish more companies did this. I bought this item and the feather weight vacuum and honestly I am so happy with the purchase. I plan to continue shopping with Bissell for any future need.

I love this machine! I only wish I knew about a long time ago. My cat has issues eating to fast and her food comes back up. Well with changing her food to no grain this happens a lot less, but when she cant help it, my green machine is to the rescue. OMG this is the best household product I ever bought! Thank you Bissell! I would even be a spokesperson for the product that's how much I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried it first on my car seats, and the car smells so much better. The coffee and pup cup stains are not as bad as they were, but they're still there, so this isn't a magic fix for old stains. I'd like it to be more powerful, but then I wouldn't be able to carry it. So all in all, this little cleaner is worth getting if you're not strong enough to use a more heavy-duty one or if you don't have much storage space.
