Good at first...then downhill from there

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first got the Little Green I used it primarily for cleaning spots on area rugs. It worked well, but always leaked every single time I used it. The suction is pretty weak for a carpet cleaner...I have even done a thorough clean of all the tubes and nozzle to make sure it was 100% clean without any blockage. After not using it for 6 months (and misplacing the water nozzle and suction brush during a move) I replaced both items through the Bissell site. I once again made sure all compartments were clean in the machine before use. Now when I use the machine the dirty water excessively leaks from the bottom (or some area at the bottom of the machine) and the leakage has gotten EXTREMELY worse. I ended up having to place the machine on a heavy duty trash bag on top of a high absorbent mat. When I use the suction, there are LITERAL BUBBLES coming from the bottom of the machine. NOTHING is going into the dirty water tank. Before anyone asks, yes the suction top on the dirty water container is closed and all items are in the proper place. So moral of the story is that instead of having dirty water in the designated tank, it is now pooling in the trash bag. After tonight I will NOT be using this product ever again. Come on Bissell, do better.

Disgusting machine after use

This thing gets instantly disgusting after use. It's impossible to clean, the dirty tank leaks all over the floor. I cannot believe this thing gets good reviews. I've tried so hard to take this apart and clean it well after each use, but even still, every time I run it, it shoots out air that stinks up the room with the scent of mold from the dirty water that's trapped inside. Complete waste of money.

How do I get the fibers out of the inside of the clear...

I love my Little Green Portable carpet cleaner!. It does an amazing job. My question is I can never seem to get the cleaning tool cleaned thoroughly after use. There are small dirty fibers stuck inside between the sides of the clear cover and the main body of the tool which cannot be rinsed out and there is no way to get even a tiny brush in to clean it. Can the clear plastic cover be removed for cleaning purposes?

I'm incredibly impatient / love to get results fast. The LittleGreen is exceptional! Worked SO well for our West Elm Andes Twill couch & our area rugs. Got stains out super fast and the cleaning formula (PRO OXY Spot & Stain) smells phenomenal!

This is our second little green machine (had similar problems with the first) We will not be buying a third. We use it for occasional spills and to clean up pet accidents. The nozzle doesn't clean completely because the clear plastic guard can't be removed so pet hair stays put. All of the joints where the hose attaches to either the machine or spray nozzle leaks so dirty water ends up creating more of a mess. Also the flat bottom that sits on the floor leaks. Overall we are extremely unhappy with the design and inability to clean it out after use.

This thing is amazing! It cleans so well I had some lady stains on my mattress and I soaked it and it cleaned them all up. I do suggest letting the solution sit for 5 minutes it does make a difference! #sweepstakes
