I have had this for about 3 years now and have used it probably a dozen or more times. The last time I used it it leaked out the bottom and lacked suction. I'm not sure where or how it is leaking but it doesn't make for a very pleasant experience when your trying to clean up a mess and end up with a bigger one.
Tonight I am ordering my third "Little Green Machine. I have read all of the reviews, and thanks to your website, I have learned how to deal with previous problems other folks have mentioned. The hose has cracked right at the body; I've duct-taped it for the last time. I have six house cats and one dog; the usual nieces and nephews; but here's a problem I have not seen mentioned: I've had seven-years with my Mom who has Alzheimer's Disease, and God bless her, there are "accidents". The "Little Green Machine" is the solution for this! Thank you!

I have had this for 5 or more years, 3 small dogs and carpet...works great! The only thing I wish the collection tank was easier to clean. After these 5+ years I finally purchased a new collection tank and a back up one.
We bought the Little Green about 3 years ago and whenever it is needed it works really really well. We couldn't be more pleased with the product! We have a young child at home, and soon will be getting a puppy. So this machine might be working overtime!!! I have told many people to invest in this product. My father being one of them and he is pleased as well.
We've had ours for about 3 years and it's done a great job. I'm here to purchase a new non-motorized cleaning wand (we broke ours) and a new collection tank. My only grumble is cleaning the collection tank. Some things just won't rinse out of it so dirt collects. For me, no matter what I use or how much I rinse the tank I can't get it clean. That's why I'm buying a new one. The old one is just gross and why chance the germs. In hind sight I recommend EVERYONE to RINSE OUT IMMEDIATELY AFTER USE very well. I am so happy however that the replacement part prices are really reasonable! Often it costs more to buy parts than to buy a new on. Thanks for not being that way!
My wife wanted a new dinette set because the upholstery was dirty. I used the Little Green Machine and the set looks almost new again. I used this product on a pet stain that a professional carpet cleaner could not remove. After treating it with Bissell prespot and then using the machine, the pet stain is gone. This machine was purchased in January 2013 and has paid for itself tenfold.
Bought the bissell little green yesterday and went to town on some couches in our house. It did take out years of soil as the water in the tank was coming out brown and kinda gross. A few things i noticed though i'd like to pass on. First was the clean water tank was impossible to insert into the slot without water squirting out of it. As soon as you fill with water and detergent and screw the cap on, you cant turn it upside down to put in the machine without water coming out. Second is the Turbo brush i found useless. Spins way to slow. Third is the hose is much to short. 4-5 feet? cmon bissell. I had to hold the machine in my hand while trying to clean the upper parts of my couch, which your not supposed to do.? you have to. How would someone do a set of stairs with this without holding the machine? I found suction was not great either but ok. Also after cleaning, i ran Just hot water through to get all the detergent out, rinsed every tool with hot water and both containers, when i went to use it a few hours later the spray in the nozzle was already plugged. How after running a hole container of hot water through? It worked but im already anticipating problems in the future. To me the little green just seems very cheaply made and has design flaws. I wished i had done more research before purchasing this. It seems my complaints are nothing new to bissell. if you read the reviews, these complaints have been going on a LONG time. I wish manufactures would listen to customers and solve some of these problems for us, the consumers.

The turbo brush is air driven by the machine; therefore, if there is low suction with your machine this tool wouldn't work properly. Please take a look at this link for easy steps for low suction. http://www.bissell.com/FAQDetail.aspx?id=1188. It would be okay to set the machine on your sofa to get closer to your cleaning area. Another step to clean your machine is to take a bowl of water and suction the water back up into the collection tank. You may have to do this a few times until clean water comes back. We hope these tips are helpful to you.
I just bought the Proheat Pet upright and assembled it. After just looking it at for a few days decided it was too big for what I really need it for. All of the reviews are very helpful, so I am taking the upright model back and getting the LGM. Just wish the LGM could use the turbo brush that is available for the upright models.

You can use the turbo brush with your machine. Here is the link to place an order for the tool. http://www.bissell.com/parts/?sc=part&productid=2865>&partid=4379 &icid=ccrr.
