Works wonders for the upholstery

I work at a hotel and our maintenance department uses this on their preventative maintenance cart. They use it to clean the drapes, upholstery, and for various spot cleaning uses.
I am not one that usually goes around writing product reviews or telling people how to clean their house (I am by no means an expert!) But I just wanted to put this here because I have a Bissell Little Green. I also have a dog and a cat who both occasionally get on their high horse and forget where to do their business. The cat also has issues with hair balls. This little baby, the Bissell Little Green does the job. Period. For pet potty accidents, I put a mixture of hydrogen peroxide, water, and vinegar in the soap chamber. Clean, clean, clean with the Bissell Green Little Green. Then I sprinkle baking soda and let sit for 15 minutes or so. Vacuum up. Odors and stains gone.
I bought my little green machine yesterday, used it today & am very pleased! I have two boys & a dog in my house so my carpets aren't the greatest. The Bissell took out all the stains & left my carpet looking 100% better!! I followed the instructions & used 4 oz of cleaner but would say if you aren't planning on cleaning your entire carpet to use less cleaner & water. Excellent product, very happy with this purchase.
This is my second Little Green Machine, I wore out my first one! For the money, this is perfect for small area stains. It's powerful and easy to use. I highly recommend this product! And Bissell is a "pet friendly" company which gives them a gold star in my book!
I bought my first Little Green and thought it worked great for occasional spills and pet accidents. Just after a year, the Powered TurboBrush broke. I then had to resort to the smaller tool which lasted a few months. I was out of luck because the 1-year warranty just expired. I thought I may have received a lemon so I decided to buy a new Green Machine and the exact same thing happened. When I told my mom about my disappointment, she told me that her TurboBrush also broke. Aside from my TurboBrushes breaking, the Green Machine has other flaws. The dirty tank is impossible to get clean so it always seems like the machine is filthy. The tank also leaks at the bottom which makes the base get dirty and difficult to clean. It might seem like a good investment at first but based on my experience (times two) and my parents as well, it's a waste of your money.

Thank you for your feedback; we're sorry for your disappointment. The tools can be ordered direct at this link: http://www.bissell.com/search.aspx?s=1400&t=Parts&icid=ccrr To loosen the debris in your tank, we recommend putting warm water in the tank and let sit to loosen the debris. To clean the hose, just take a bowl of tap water and suction the water back up. You may have to do this a few time before clean water comes back. We hope this helps you out!
When we were researching various small carpet cleaners, we found the reviews being a toss up. Some liking it, and others not. We knew we had to do something ASAP after moving here as we have an accident prone cat, and very light carpet in our apartment. While we've only used this twice in the past year, it's more than paid for itself. Once getting out a bright red sugary drink out of the carpet and a new sofa. The second time was just days go. That being a dark hot sauce that the bottle broke after receiving it in the mail. Both times I panicked as not getting the stains out. Both times, it got it most if not all of it out. I'm starting to think we may need to get a full size one to keep the whole place looking fresh, and it did wonders for the nap of the carpet. Very pleased.
This thing is a joke. I bought it this morning after my puppy had an accident on my couch. After cleaning the mess as much as possible, I sprayed the cushions and waited 3 minutes to pretreat it. This machine doesn't work. I have as little as 1 tablespoon of water in the dirty tank resevoir. Its not sucking any water . Now all I have is a soaking wet couch! I am returning it tomorrow!

Thanks for our review. We're sorry for your difficulty. When cleaning cushions it's best to clean ins small sections to suction the water back up right away.
