This machine paid for itself after the first use! My kids stained my couches so much I have used couch covers for the past year. I used the bissell and they look brand new! These are heavy set in stains I am talking about. After seeing how well it worked I decided to try it on my husband's SUV. His seats looked pretty bad as well and was looking to buy seat covers. After I was done it looked like we had just driven it off the car dealership lot. I still can't believe the difference!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a second purchase. It is the one that does not heat the water. I used the first one a lot for cleaning cat messes and water leaks on carpet, and was pleased at how convenient it was. Then it broke or didn't perform as well or got too dirty, or I didn't have any carpet left in the house... I can't remember what happened. Then I spilled vegetable juice on the floor of my car and needed to clean/extract the liquid. Instead of going to a car wash, I purchased Bissell Little Green and cleaned it myself. I had mopped the liquid with a towel by then but I think it cleaned nicely. It's nice to have at hand.

We have large Bissell cleaner at home that works well on large rooms, so we were familiar with the quality of the Bissell products.
