Useful Tool But Sort of Niche

I received this product as part of the Stellar Testing Panel. I was in the market for a similar type tool for a while so I jumped at the opportunity to try this one out. We have a fair bit of carpet throughout our house, and while high quality, it begins to look pretty shabby at times due to pets, small children, and dirty shoes (especially during the rainy / muddy / snowy months). We had professional carpet cleaning not too long ago, but already, I could see some stains developing that our regular vacuum wasn't handling. I was impressed by Turbo Clean's ability to get below the surface. Our carpet definitely looks better than it did before! And to be honest, my inner "clean freak" just feels better knowing that I cleaned below the surface and not just the top layer of dirt. I also really like the attachments that make it possible to clean the stairs since that's such a high traffic area. I found it a little "stiff" in its ability to maneuver in tight spaces, but it wasn't impossible. It just wasn't as "nimble" as other vacuums and cleaners I've used. I personally try to be pretty non-toxic in my home cleaning supplies so I didn't love some of the chemicals in the provided cleaner. I wonder if I could substitute my non-toxic cleaning options in the tank, but I wasn't sure and didn't want to risk damaging the machine with products not designed for it. All in all, I'm very happy with it and happy to have the option to clean more deeply than a regular vacuum allows. It's not perfect, and there are some stains that didn't come out completely (particularly some marker stains on my son's rug), but that may just come with the territory of this stage of life. We're pretty tough on our floors! If you have a lot of carpeted areas in your home, you should definitely consider this product!

This Bissell TurboClean carpet cleaner takes clean to a new level. After using our favorite Bissel vacuum for multiple passes, we ran the TurboClean.... I have to say the amount of dirt, grime, etc that the TurboClean picked up is amazing. This is easy to clean, easy to use, and is lightweight. The handheld brush cleaned our couch with ease. This is a must have for anyone with kids or pets! Thanks to Stellar Panel for the chance to try out this carpet cleaner.

We have three young kids and two dogs, so needless to say our carpets get dirty. We used the cleaner in our area rugs as well as our bedroom carpets, and it made a huge difference. I love that it's not as cumbersome as other carpet cleaners I have used. It comes with all the necessary attachments for upholstery and for getting into the corners of our carpet. It also has great suction so you don't have to worry about leaving a ton of moisture in the carpet. It's a great carpet cleaner! I tested this carpet cleaner as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Wowee! My Sofas Were Surprisingly Dirty!

Before using this machine my carpet and sofas didn't look visibly dirty. Naturally, I assumed this was because they weren't. Unfortunately for me, I found out how very wrong I was. I appreciated that the solution canister included the cleanser to water ratio printed directly on it. It makes it so much simpler to just pour out the recommended ratio and start cleaning. The tank holds a decent amount of cleansing solution, as well. I was able to clean a low pile cotton 6' x 9' area rug and a small microfiber sofa with one full tank. It is also easy to maneuver. If you can push a vacuum, then you can use this machine. The trick is to go slowly and let the machine do the work for you. The rolling brush on the bottom does all of the hard scrubbing. The upholstery attachment still requires some elbow grease, but it also does a good job of cleaning. I also really liked that this machine is an upright. I used to have a portable cleaner for small pet accidents. I would have to lug it around and get down on the floor to scrub. This upright cleaner is so much easier. Once you are done, disassembly is simple. The clean water canister and the dirty water canister come out easily and can be rinsed out and left to dry. The upholstery attachment also has a setting that allows you to flush out the attachment and hose with the cleansing solution. This is a really nice extra feature because you won't be putting away a stinky, dirty hose. Because this machine is an upright, I am able to just wheel it into a narrow broom closet when I'm done. Overall, I think this carpet cleaner is effective and easy to use. I recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable upright model. Cleaning up messes of toddler and cats the easy way!

I received this carpet cleaner from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I really enjoy using this product. So far I've used it on spot cleaning with the hose attachment and it works well! When applying the soapy water, it has a wide width it covers. To close spraying the spot it doesn't cover much, and to far it sprays on to much, such as a kitchen table chair it sprays on the ground. Still working on perfecting that. I wish the wand attachment was a bit wider so you wouldn't have to go over it so many times. I also wish the bristles were a bit longer as well, as you're scrubbing it's also sucking up the water so I don't feel like I can scrub as hard. Overall I love the shampooer and works great for cleaning up toddler and cat messes. Let's be real, no parent has time to stop and fully clean up messes, but with this handy tool I now can!

I was sent this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have a 3 year old and 3 cats so messes range from big to small and happen every day. This machine was amazing for all messes we used it for. To start, this carpet cleaner is much lighter than I expected it to be which makes it easier to maneuver. Also, the clean water tank being separate from the dirty water tank was a huge plus. It was easy to clean and took only a few minutes after doing our carpets. We used it to clean a full carpet first. This carpet had seen everything from spilled juice to cat stains. Everything came up after a few passes. What is even better was how much water it would suck up during dry passes. I've had carpets need days to dry, this only needed a few hours. The attachments are easy to attach and also to clean. We were able to use it on our couch woth no issues of attachments falling off or getting tangled. I love that it came with a storage bag for the attachments since the attachments aren't attached permanently to the machine. The only con I can see with this carpet cleaner is the sound. It is rather loud if you compare to a vacuum cleaner, however, the sound is something you can get past when it comes to it's great cleaning power.

Thanks to the Stellar product testing panel for the chance to try the TurboClean Pet Carpet cleaner! First impression is wow! My household has three large dogs, two cats, and two young kids so things get dirty quickly especially furniture and rugs. Right out of the box I was impressed with how easy it was to assemble as well as its relatively compact size. The design of the cleaner just makes sense. The holding tank stays stationary over the unit so dirty water isn't sloshing around while using. The wand function was a lifesaver for using on upholstery- and also a cinch to clean when done. No extra tools needed to clean the cleaner when done. Total time saver. I was eager to test the wand on some stains on the foot of my sofa. To my surprise, the stains lifted within minutes. The suction on the wand was great and once done only left a mild dampness that maybe took an hour to dry. I then tested its ability on my living room rug. Remarkable how much dirt this machine pulled out of the rug. The only point I must note- this machine is LOUD. However, it has incredible suction and cleaning power. I will take that trade. Overall, this carpet cleaner would be a great tool for anyone with pets and carpets. It makes cleaning easy. Easy to prep, easy to use, and easy to clean up. It's not super bulky and weighs no more than your standard vacuum.

Small but powerful

With a 60 pound lab mix and a 5 month old baby, I have a fair share of mess so keeping any fabric clean is a struggle. Since I don't have a lot of storage space, this carpet cleaner was appealing as it was both an upright carpet cleaner and had the ability to be an upholstery cleaner with the included attachments! I loved it as an upright cleaner. I have an area rug in my son's nursery that had a stain above an orange "v" in the design. I used the carpet cleaner on that stain and it's barely noticeable now! It pulled up stains from lotions that had spilled, spit up, and even dirt that my dog had tracked in! I was stunned at how much dirt it pulled up from the rug even from other areas that I thought were clean. Also it's easy to maneuver and it's not bulky at all! I would caution that the smell of the cleaning formula can be pretty strong so you might want to leave some extra time for the room to air out a bit. Thankfully my dog didn't seem to be bothered by the smell! I was also very excited to use the self cleanout tool attachment with the seven foot hose. The long hose meant that I wasn't constantly tugging the cleaner behind me! I tackled a couch that my dog has claimed as her own that's always covered in dirt that she tracks in. While the cleanout tool was able to get a lot of dirt out of the couch I was cleaning, I found I had to apply a lot of pressure to get really good suction. Additionally, one slightly annoying quirk I found is that after using the self clean option I would switch the nozzle of the tool back to spray and there was leftover water that would run down the handle. On carpet and area rugs the upright carpet cleaner is awesome. While I did have some issues with the self cleanout tool, it and the crevice tool are definitely effective. Dumping the dirty water out of the tank each time is deeply satisfying and is proof of just how strong this cleaner is.
