The carpet cleaner I've always needed!

I was given this carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have always been hesitant to use a carpet cleaner because they seemed cumbersome, hard to assemble, and hard to take apart once the cleaning was done. But with this TurboClean Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner, my mind has officially been changed! The design of this product is great - all of the components are easy to assemble, simple to use, and easy to take apart to clean. It is the same size as a regular vacuum so it does take up quite a bit of space, but it's not cumbersome in its design. I was able to clean a section of my downstairs carpet and a rug and it cleaned very well! I was able to see a lot of dirt, hair, and grime that was picked up. It had good suction power and after a few passes, most of the water was soaked up as well making it quick to dry. This product also came with a hose and hand-held attachment which we used to clean a small rug. But this attachment could also be used to clean upholstery. The attachment worked great and was really easy to use. The cleaner itself ran smoothly, was easy to push and pull back and forth across the carpet, and worked seamlessly. I was able to clean some stains on our carpet and years worth of dirt and unseen grime came up as well. It was so satisfying seeing how much came out of the carpet! We have a dog, cat and a toddler but this product held up to the job! Overall, the only thing I would change about the product is making it a little slimmer or smaller. The feature I liked the most was how easy and simple it is to use and then take apart to clean. I will not be intimidated again and am looking forward to having a much cleaner and healthier house for myself, and especially my kid!

Amazing product-easy to use!

This was so easy to put together and use! I had it up and running in less than five minutes after removing it from the box. The directions were very easy to follow. The machine itself worked great! I first used it to clean a rug in our main entryway. I could immediately see the dirt lifting out of the rug and the dirty water tank was filling with dirty water. I also used the hose attachment to clean our upholstered dining chairs that have never been deep cleaned. They are dark navy so the dirt is hidden well (eww). To say the dirty water was dark after cleaning these would be an understatement. The attachment was very easy to use and cleaned very well. I have yet to take this upstairs to use on a fully carpeted room, but I am confident that it will get the job done. My only complaint was all the overspray when using the attachment on the upholstered chairs. No matter how I tried to angle the hose, it still sprayed all over, but that an easy clean up in the grand scheme of things and at least it is spraying clean water solution. Cleaning these machine after use was easy to do, and is always recommended after using any type of wet mop/cleaning machine to prevent smells from developing. Overall, I think this is a great product and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an easy to use carpet cleaner. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this carpet cleaner. This review contains my honest opinions and is not influenced by any outside sources.

A Pretty Solid Machine

I received this carpet cleaner through Stellar Product Testing Panel. We recently moved into a new (old) house a few months ago and cleaned the carpets with one of those big ones you rent from the store. We are a strict no shoes inside household but do have kids and 4 cats. I really wasn't expecting the carpets to be that dirty but boy was I wrong. Unboxing and setup was simple. No tools are needed. You really just have to click the handle on and that's it. They include a small bottle of cleaner to get you started but if you plan to do your whole house, I'd have more on hand. Size wise, it's the same as any upright vacuum. It is a tiny bit heavier because of the water storage onboard but it's still pretty easy to pull and navigate with. I'm six foot tall and can use it without issue. The way the handle is designed can accommodate shorter folks as well, the machine will just be a little bit farther away from you. My biggest gripe is that the power button is very low on the machine. You really have to bend over to hit it. Once turned on, it's no louder than a typical vacuum. The suction seems powerful enough to leave the carpet damp enough to quickly dry with a fan on. Clean up is a breeze. Everything disassembles easy enough and can be rinsed out so the machine doesn't get funky while waiting for it's next dirt scrubbing adventure.

Powerful Cleaning in a Compact Package

When you first assemble this carpet cleaner you will be amazed at how compact it seems compared to others. However, when you put it to work you will be amazed at how well it cleans! The size makes it great for moving it around the house. I was able to use it both in our carpeted upstairs area and in our downstairs main living area where we have an area rug. With children and pets the carpets in our home take a beating and carpet cleaning was always a daunting task as our previous cleaner was large and heavy. This little cleaner was easy to take up and down the stairs and was easy to use to clean all the small spaces throughout the bedrooms. The additional tools make it even more versatile and help in treating small stains and hard to reach areas. While it isn't quite as powerful as some of the larger heavier-duty versions, it packs a lot of power into such a small device. Overall it did a fantastic job at removing pet odors, small stains, and just cleaning out all those everyday-use spots on the carpet and rug. My favorite part by far is the lightweight build of this carpet cleaner, it makes it super quick and easy to pull out and use and helps carpet cleaning become part of my regular cleaning schedule instead of a large and daunting task. I received the product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, however, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a compact carpet cleaner that gets the job done efficiently!

Easy, quick and fun ... Versatile Carpet Cleaner

I was given this carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I've never owned a carpet cleaner until this one but I have to say, it's pretty simple and straight forward to use. Very easy and quick to assemble and much lighter than I expected it to be. I've always had pets in my life and now add in a kiddo and things happen. This was my chance to try and remove some of the dirty spots and lick spots on the couch. I was so excited that I forgot to take pictures beforehand but let me tell you our couch looks so much better now! I've only had a chance to use the hose attachment and it did a great job. Also liked that it came with a pointy hose attachment so you can get in between the cushions. So from a handheld cleaning I would give it an A.

Quick, compact, easy

I received this carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it has been such a valuable addition to our household cleaning tools! We have an elderly doggo who sometimes eats more than his little stomach can handle, so that, paired with young kids and mainly carpet on our main level of the house, is a recipe for disaster in the form of pet stains and food spills. This TurboClean Pet Upright Cleaner is so easy to use, assemble, and take apart for fast, timely cleaning of pet stains and messes on our carpet. It came with some wonderfully scented cleaning solution and did a great job on getting stains out of our carpet with just enough suction power to clean tough messes. The compact size is perfect for me to use and very lightweight. My favorite feature is how easy it is to assemble and maneuver around small spaces, especially when using the long hose attachment. We mainly used it on juice spills and dog vomit so far and it works great. I'd recommend this cleaner to anyone who is looking for a fast, quick option to clean stains and messes on carpets without having to push around a big, heavy carpet cleaner.

Easy Carpet Maintenance

I have tried out quite a few carpet cleaners and have yet to find one that I'm fully satisfied with, but this one has been the best yet. I was given this carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This is a very light and easy to use carpet cleaner. It moved easily along the floor in multiple directions as it did its cleaning. And it has an extra long cord and handheld tool hose making it very versatile. In addition to that it's quite compact and takes up little closet space. I tested this on our heavily soiled rug in our family room, the couch in that same room and on a carpeted foot path upstairs. On the heavily soiled rug the upright carpet cleaner did a decent job removing the bulk of the dirt. The handheld tool was able to remove some caked in syrup stains on the carpet that needed some more elbow grease to lift up the carpet fibers. I also compared if I just hand scrubbed the carpet, which was only marginally better than using the handheld tool. Overall comparing the upright machine, the handheld tool, and hand scrubbing to how soiled the rug was originally the cleaning power was satisfactory and noticeable for an initial cleaning using the machine. On the carpeted foot path upstairs with moderate dirt, it faired well and you could easily see the portion where it was cleaned. On the couch the handheld tool was easy to use due to its long hose which allowed it to go wherever I needed. Because the handheld has constant suction, I did have some trouble getting enough cleaning agent to stay on the couch while I scrubbed the stains. Overall, while this was not able to fully tackle the heavily stained rug that I tested this on it did make a noticeable difference where it was used. The compact lightweight design of this machine makes it easy enough for anyone to use. This is so easy to use that you could use it on a regular basis without having to dread the entire process. I would recommend this to friends and family.

Handy and lightweight

I received the Bissell TurboClean Pet upright carpet cleaner for free as part of a Stellar Product Testing Panel. The assembly of the unit was simple and straight forward, and the box it came in was fairly small for an upright vacuum. I was pleasantly surprised at how lightweight it was while still feeling sturdy. There is a large accessory bag to hold the attachments and the hose, but I wish there was integrated storage on the vacuum so I didn't have to find another spot to hang the bag. The maneuverability was comparable to other Bissell upright vacuums we have tested, but it was much lighter than other upright carpet cleaners. The TurboClean made light work of muddy paw prints on our area carpet, and using the hose attachment we were able to get a stain out of the couch. I wish it was a little more portable so it could have been used to clean the car. We are big road trippers and our cars get even more messy from the dogs
