Effective and Lightweight

I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I'm a mom of one with two cats and a husband that regularly walks through the house in muddy shoes so our carpets get dirty. I'm also disabled and can't wrangle a heavy machine. I really liked that this carpet cleaner was the size (and noise level!) or a standard upright vacuum. It was also very easy to use and intuitively set up. As I put the machine together and prepared to use it for the first time, I did notice that some of the plastic components like the wheels felt a bit flimsy, as though they could break fairly easily. They reminded me a bit of a child's plastic toy. That's the main reason I gave this cleaner 4 rather than 5 stars. I would expect the machine to last about 2 to 3 years with light to moderate use based on quality of construction. But the cleaning power itself was very good! I used this on an area rug that's in a high traffic area and was professionally steam cleaned about 8 months ago and it pulled a ton of dirt out of the rug! It also helped lighten a stain that even the pros couldn't get out. I did try to take a photo of the stain before and after but it was difficult to catch on camera. But you can see from the dirty water tank that it did a good job! Overall, I would recommend this carpet cleaner to others.

Perfect for small messes

While I don't have pets, I do have six children, and they can create some big messes! I've been wanting to tackle the spit-up stains in my nursery for ages, so that's where I started with this carpet cleaner. One of my favorite things about this cleaner is its compact design-it doesn't take up much storage space. However, I wish there were a more integrated way to store the hose and attachments since they only come in a drawstring bag. The small tank size is another consideration: it's not ideal for cleaning large areas without multiple trips to empty and refill, but it's perfect for spot cleaning and quick clean-ups from kids or pets. Unlike other cleaners I've used, this one combines the water and cleaning solution in a single tank with fill lines for each. I'm not used to this setup, but it has its benefits-like letting you manually control the cleaning solution ratio if you prefer to use less. The downside is the lack of a rinse setting, which leaves a bit of solution in the carpet unless you refill the tank with clean water for a second pass. As I worked, I noticed it wasn't as loud as I expected-actually quieter than our vacuum! The cleaner maneuvered well, letting me attack stains from different angles. I was thrilled to see it got all the nursery carpet stains out! I also tried the upholstery attachments on my rocking chair. They worked pretty well, though some stains weren't fully removed after drying, even though they looked better while wet. Cleaning the tanks and the cleaner itself was a breeze. The tanks are simple in shape, making them easy to clean and dry, so I don't anticipate any mold or mildew issues. Overall, this carpet cleaner is a fantastic tool for small spills and accidents, and I love how it makes cleaning easier for me. Easy to use cleaner!

The Bissell TurboClean Pet Carpet and Upholstery cleaner is easy to use and effective. This carpet cleaner is about the same size as our upright vacuum. It does not take up too much room in our small townhouse. The design is intuitive and the water tanks click into place easily. I really appreciate how the clean water tank has easy to use markings for adding warm water and cleaning solution to make sure to use the right amount. I also love the antibacterial cleaner option as our son plays on this rug every day! There is a separate hose than can attach to the carpet cleaner with 2 attachments to reach smaller areas, like stairs or corners of the room. The TurboClean carpet cleaner works effectively and quickly. I was able to clean our 68" x 94" rug in under 15 minutes after our son went to bed. The clean water reservoir was the perfect size for cleaning this rug. If you were using the cleaner on a larger carpeted area, you would need to refill the tank. For our townhouse set up, I prefer the sleeker design over a larger water reservoir. Using multiple passes on the rug, it was dry by the time our little one got up in the morning! The dirty water reservoir was easy to empty and clean. The TurboClean carpet cleaner removed pet stains from our cats and a set-in coffee stain from when my son knocked my coffee out of my hand a couple weeks ago! It is a relief knowing how much cleaner our carpet is after using the TurboClean carpet cleaner! Thank you to Stellar Panel for providing us with this carpet cleaner - it has already become a staple in our cleaning routine to keep our house as safe and clean as possible for our son!

Awesome! No more worrying about messes!

We have a busy family with a toddler a new dog and a baby on the way. Our house is in need of constant cleaning wether its liquid spills or dirt from day to day traffic. The TurboClean pet upright carpet cleaner has made it so much easier to clean up messes thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Because of the overall design, compactness and ease of accessibility, it makes my life more worry free when it comes to the clean up process. It is very easy to refill with cleaning solutions as well as discarding the waste. For a carpet cleaner the size is sleek and not bulky unlike other cleaners I've used in the past. We have a white/beige couch which is always a challenge to keep clean, but with the TurboClean hose attachment, spot cleanups are no longer a hassle. I also like the fact that it comes with a bag to keep this attachment in. The suction is strong and does not leave the carpet completely wet which is nice knowing that the dry time is significantly shorter. Overall I have no complaints about this product and will continue to use it. We own and love all of our Bissell products and will continue recommending them to others!

Cleaned better than the rented machine from the store.

Small but mighty! Over Thanksgiving, we went on vacation for a week. The neighborhood kid we hired to feed our cat accidentally closed the door to her litter box. For days, our sweet kitty had no other choice but to find another bathroom: the bedroom floor. Yikes. For the past MONTH, I've been trying to get the smell out of the room. We sprayed enzyme cleaner on the carpet and scrubbed. I rented a big commercial-grade machine from the grocery store. The room still smelled like cat pee. Then the Stellar Product Testing Panel sent me this Bissell TurboClean. Could not have come at a better time. We cleaned the carpet with it today and I was SHOCKED at how dirty the water was! This was just two weeks after I cleaned the carpet with the industrial machine! The carpet is only 2 years old and it's not a high-traffic area, so I didn't expect the water to be very dirty. After the bedroom carpet, I went to town on the years-old stains on the couch and a weird water stain on the ceiling in our van. You can see the before/after pics. I must say I'm impressed at the suction and cleaning power of this little machine. Worth the investment to have this on-hand for life's messes.

Great product that saved the holidays!

This carpet and upholstery cleaner is a great and easy to use product. While celebrating the holidays, red wine was spilled on a brand new couch. Thankfully, this product had just arrived and been set up the previous day! It was able to remove the stain completely and truly was a Christmas miracle! I hurried so fast I unfortunately wasn't able to snag a pic, but we were so grateful to have this on hand! The day before as mentioned I cleaned our upstairs carpets and the dirty water that came from it was so satisfying! Definitely feel better knowing dirt and allergens were removed so my family can breathe better! Thank you Stellar Product testing for the opportunity!

Great for small spaces

This upright carpet cleaner is perfect for someone like me who has mostly hard flooring with plenty of large area rugs, kids and four dogs. It's smaller than a traditional upright carpet cleaner which makes more sense for my household. It's easy to setup out of the box and is quite lightweight. It was quick and easy to use and empty and picked up most of the water solution which helped with a quicker drying time. It came with a crevice tool which I haven't used but I did try the upholstery tool and longer hose extension and it was not only easy to use but did a great job of cleaning my couch. I have a handheld cleaner that works great for upholstery and spot messes but leaves me stuck trying to jam my area rugs into my washer or dragging them outside. Originally I wouldn't have even thought I needed an upright carpet cleaner because they're usually large and bulky but this one has changed my mind and made it so easy to clean my area rugs. I received this carpet cleaner from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

We have three young kids and two dogs, so needless to say our carpets get dirty. We used the cleaner in our area rugs as well as our bedroom carpets, and it made a huge difference. I love that it's not as cumbersome as other carpet cleaners I have used. It comes with all the necessary attachments for upholstery and for getting into the corners of our carpet. It also has great suction so you don't have to worry about leaving a ton of moisture in the carpet. It's a great carpet cleaner! I tested this carpet cleaner as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
