Versatile Cleaner

I was so excited to receive TurboClean Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner from the Stellar Product Testing Panel! I have two cats, plus two young boys, with two carpeted floors in my house, so this cleaner has been absolutely amazing! The cleaner is lightweight enough for me to carry up and down a flight of stairs. It is not too bulky to carry around the house or too difficult when I am moving it around on the carpet. It has fantastic suction! It sucks up all the dirt that is tracked in from outside, as well as, any other stains (i.e. per stains). My house smells and looks so much fresher now! It even came with a spraying crevice tool, so I feel like I can really get a deep clean when I use it. I have been using this cleaner once a week and honestly feel like it has made a major difference in the cleanliness of my carpets. I have even been able to use it on one of our couches after a food spill from my little one.

Wonderful Addition to Cleaning Arsenal

I recieved this carpet cleaner as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. As soon as I found out I was recieving a carpet cleaner I was very excited. I have 3 small children and 2 cats, so carpet messes are nothing I'm a stranger to. Putting the carpet cleaner together after taking it out of the box was really simple. I followed the directions to make sure I did nothing wrong, but really it was pretty self explanatory. It's an upright cleaner, not a spot cleaner, so it is large if you just want to clean a small spot, but it is light and easily maneuverable. So far I have used the cleaner to clean the carpets in the room two of my children share. This carpet has been subject to potty training accidents and vomit from tummy bugs, and while we've always cleaned it with rags and spray cleaners and disinfectants, it still had plenty of spots and stains as a result. After vacuuming I ran the cleaner through the room and was pleasantly surprised with how simple it was to use. It was as comfortable to push around as a vacuum. I used two clean water tanks with the cleaning solution to cover the whole room and then ran two more tanks of clean water as a rinse. The amount of dirt the carpet cleaner pulled out pf the carpet was both impressive and disgusting. I ran the machine without water or solution to pull excess water out of the carpet and it did an excellent job. After a couple passes the floor only felt slightly damp, not sodden. I finished with the room at noon, and by bed time it was dry and I could move their beds and things back into the room. I also used the included hose and upholstery tool to clean my husband's recliner. The tool did it's job okay, but the vaccuum part leaks a bit of water as it rid into the machine through the hose, and the spray nozzle in the hose leaks on my hand whenever I switch between spray mode and tool cleaning mode so for that reason I took a star off my review. I wrapped a towel around the bottom of the vaccum to catch

Handy Dandy Cleaning Machine!

I received the Bissell TurboClean™ Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. For a full-sized cleaner, the box it arrived in was surprisingly small and manageable. Unpacking and assembly was a breeze (assembly instructions were not necessary but I like to check them just to be sure). I was able to use the cleaner within minutes of opening the box. As a carpet cleaner, the size is just right for an everyday consumer - big enough to make quick work, but compact enough to easily store away. It's easy and straight-forward to operate and maneuver. I used it to clean year+ old stains from a nursery rug, and it came out beautifully! This cleaner comes with an upholstery hose cleaner attachment in a well-sized accessory bag, and works extremely well! I used it on a nursery chair to remove stains and spots, and they came out so easily! The clear plastic face of the handle attachment gives you the satisfaction and assurance that this thing is doing its job. The suction is superb. One of the best features of this mode is the self-cleaning feature of the hose attachment. It makes for extremely quick and easy after-use care of the attachment. Apart from the self-cleaning hose feature, my only critique is that the after-use care is a bit cumbersome and time-intensive if you want to do it well and right. And I'd love to see the upholstery hose as a permanent attachment on the cleaner. I personally like it when everything fits on-board, and I don't have to think about where to store additional accessories. Overall, I'm very happy with it. It's simple, user-friendly, and did a great job of removing worked-in stains.

Quick and easy!

This thing is great! The Stellar Product Testing Panel sent me the product and after opening it, I was seriously able to use it within 15 minutes!!! The set up was a breeze which involved literally clicking three pieces together. The instructions made sense and were clear, and then there I was on my way. I have a smaller, portable one with just a hose attachment but I've never used a full on upright carpet cleaner. I actually really love the size so that I can clean larger areas like bedrooms. Once I could figure out where the power button and lever to recline the handle was, this was very easy to use and maneuver. The only thing I don't like is that it's hard to wheel around when upright and locked. I ended up carrying it around - which was fine but I would just prefer to wheel it around easily. I cleaned our average size bedroom, closet, and then I spot cleaned a 3 month old fruit pouch stain on a couch cushion left from one of my toddlers (see before and after of that spot clean attached). To do all of that I had to refill 3 times and use the whole bottle of the starter cleaner (which smells absolutely fantastic btw!) I feel like it does go through the clean water/cleaner solution pretty fast and it is kind of annoying having to refill it so often, but at the same time the machine isn't too heavy so I'll take the more frequent refills over a beast of a machine. I also included a picture of the dirty water and holy cow did it get a lot of dirt!!! The suction is incredible. I vacuumed right before too and it was still picking up crazy dust bunnies from I don't even know where!! We've only had these carpets about 2 years too and we're a strictly shoes off inside the house family so I'd say that's pretty impressive. Overall my favorite thing about using the machine was the smell of the cleaner! I want to buy more and clean more carpets just so my house can keep smelling like it. Also, once the carpets dried in our bedroom walking around on them is SO nice!

Cleaning done easy!

I was given this TurboClean™ Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner to try as part of the Stellar product testing panel. I was so excited to have a deep carpet cleaning for the first time, and this cleaner lived up to the hype I made in my head! I didn't even realize how filthy our carpets were, but after a one hour cleaning, my feet could feel the difference! It was quick and easy to use, and one entire room took a little more than one hour, including getting the couches and pillows and 16 foot rug. The design of the cleaner is much like other machines, but it gives you the option to use a handheld cleaner for things like pillows and our couch backing (where a ton of spills happen) and also the push feature to get larger pieces like rugs and carpet. I really enjoyed using both features, as not all machines have both. It really felt like everything got cleaned, even the heavy duty wine spills that my husband said he cleaned up but still missed. I'll forgive him this time because he let me watch while he did the cleaning. We also got up all the boot tracking that happens during the winter, the disgusting salt, and a ton of puppy pee that soaked in. It really got it all, and the cleaner made the room smell fresh. It moves just as easily as any vacuum would and stores away easily, which is really awesome because my house is small with only has one closet. Overall, I'm so happy we got this and used it immediately. We're going to do our whole upstairs now that we know it's extremely easy to use and doesn't take long to set up.

TurboClean™ Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner vs. 4 pets

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I got to try out the TurboClean™ Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner. With four pets (2 cats & 2 dogs) and a 6-month-old baby who's just starting to roll and sit on her own, keeping our carpets clean is a big deal. Our little one is spending so much time on the ground now, so I want to make sure it's as clean as possible for her. We recently got back from a long trip visiting family, & it felt so good to refresh the carpets for the New Year. After weeks away, you really notice your "house smell" that you get used to too easily & yeah...the house needed some love. Design and Size: The cleaner is lightweight and easy to carry, which I really appreciated while tackling different rooms. It's compact enough to store without taking up a ton of space, which is a plus when you've got baby gear everywhere. It really did a pretty great job on messes. There were some previous mystery stains that we spot treated in the past and this did a fab job at lifting a lot of those. Between the dogs and general wear and tear, the carpets looked so much fresher after using it. Honestly scary how I didn't realize my living room rug was supposed to be a few shades lighter... I felt a lot better letting my baby roll around on the floor afterward. The attachments are handy, especially for furniture. With our two cats claiming every single piece of furniture as their own, the upholstery tool got plenty of use. This cleaner is pretty easy to maneuver. It's decently light enough to move from room to room without much hassle, and it handled corners and tighter spaces well. I didn't feel like I was wrestling with it, which is always a win. It worked great for everyday dirt, pet messes, and giving the house a little refresh after being away for so long. I focused on the areas where our baby plays the most, and it felt good knowing those spots were extra clean. I also really appreciated how quickly the carpets dried after cleaning.

Effective and Lightweight

I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I'm a mom of one with two cats and a husband that regularly walks through the house in muddy shoes so our carpets get dirty. I'm also disabled and can't wrangle a heavy machine. I really liked that this carpet cleaner was the size (and noise level!) or a standard upright vacuum. It was also very easy to use and intuitively set up. As I put the machine together and prepared to use it for the first time, I did notice that some of the plastic components like the wheels felt a bit flimsy, as though they could break fairly easily. They reminded me a bit of a child's plastic toy. That's the main reason I gave this cleaner 4 rather than 5 stars. I would expect the machine to last about 2 to 3 years with light to moderate use based on quality of construction. But the cleaning power itself was very good! I used this on an area rug that's in a high traffic area and was professionally steam cleaned about 8 months ago and it pulled a ton of dirt out of the rug! It also helped lighten a stain that even the pros couldn't get out. I did try to take a photo of the stain before and after but it was difficult to catch on camera. But you can see from the dirty water tank that it did a good job! Overall, I would recommend this carpet cleaner to others.

Perfect for small messes

While I don't have pets, I do have six children, and they can create some big messes! I've been wanting to tackle the spit-up stains in my nursery for ages, so that's where I started with this carpet cleaner. One of my favorite things about this cleaner is its compact design-it doesn't take up much storage space. However, I wish there were a more integrated way to store the hose and attachments since they only come in a drawstring bag. The small tank size is another consideration: it's not ideal for cleaning large areas without multiple trips to empty and refill, but it's perfect for spot cleaning and quick clean-ups from kids or pets. Unlike other cleaners I've used, this one combines the water and cleaning solution in a single tank with fill lines for each. I'm not used to this setup, but it has its benefits-like letting you manually control the cleaning solution ratio if you prefer to use less. The downside is the lack of a rinse setting, which leaves a bit of solution in the carpet unless you refill the tank with clean water for a second pass. As I worked, I noticed it wasn't as loud as I expected-actually quieter than our vacuum! The cleaner maneuvered well, letting me attack stains from different angles. I was thrilled to see it got all the nursery carpet stains out! I also tried the upholstery attachments on my rocking chair. They worked pretty well, though some stains weren't fully removed after drying, even though they looked better while wet. Cleaning the tanks and the cleaner itself was a breeze. The tanks are simple in shape, making them easy to clean and dry, so I don't anticipate any mold or mildew issues. Overall, this carpet cleaner is a fantastic tool for small spills and accidents, and I love how it makes cleaning easier for me.
