I received this carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it has been such a valuable addition to our household cleaning tools! We have an elderly doggo who sometimes eats more than his little stomach can handle, so that, paired with young kids and mainly carpet on our main level of the house, is a recipe for disaster in the form of pet stains and food spills. This TurboClean Pet Upright Cleaner is so easy to use, assemble, and take apart for fast, timely cleaning of pet stains and messes on our carpet. It came with some wonderfully scented cleaning solution and did a great job on getting stains out of our carpet with just enough suction power to clean tough messes. The compact size is perfect for me to use and very lightweight. My favorite feature is how easy it is to assemble and maneuver around small spaces, especially when using the long hose attachment. We mainly used it on juice spills and dog vomit so far and it works great. I'd recommend this cleaner to anyone who is looking for a fast, quick option to clean stains and messes on carpets without having to push around a big, heavy carpet cleaner.

Great for pet and toddler stains!

I've been having heavy winter storms and that means wet dogs with muddy paws- bonus: I have corgis, so their little legs means wet bellies too! Add in the daily life of a toddler, and the carpeted areas of my house never seem fully clean. I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I am so happy it came right before the holidays! Set up was super easy, and I was able to clean up some area rugs during nap time! The cleaning power was great- some older spots still exist, but seem lighter. It does fill up quickly, so you have to pay attention and empty it out multiple times, but this is something I've come to expect of vacuums and carpet cleaners. I do wish emptying was easier. I appreciate that it's not too heavy, and the suction seemed consistent.

Wow, this is such a great little machine! The size is just perfect - it covers area quickly, yet is not so huge and bulky that it feels stressful to use. Even my kids were able to easily work with it, and my back appreciated the easier maneuverability - it's so much nicer than similar machines I have tried of other brands. I also love that - with the quality I've come to expect from Bissell - this machine is so easy to assemble and fill/dump. The whole process is very intuitive, even for someone like me that isn't very mechanically minded. Also, the attachments feel sturdy and well-made. We have 3 kids and 2 cats, and we live on a farm - so our rugs get a lot of dirt and hair on them. I used a dry vacuum over our living room rug first as instructed, then this cleaner. I was both impressed and disgusted by the amount of dirt this cleaner found even after the other vacuuming! I felt a lot better about having our young niece visit, knowing the rug was truly clean for her to crawl on. I'm looking forward to keeping it cleaner from now on! I also tried this cleaner on our living room furniture and was able to remove several stubborn stains. The smaller attachments worked well getting into the crevices and crannies. I'm glad to know we have this to turn to any time the kids or cats are messy. Thanks so much to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this carpet cleaner! It is a great addition to our family's cleaning arsenal.

Quiet and Powerful Clean

I was given this carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The carpet cleaner is smaller than I imagined, so I was initially skeptical about its power, but happy that it could be easily stored in my townhouse without taking up too much space. I first used the carpet cleaner on a large living room rug, which gets the most foot traffic out of any other room in the house. This carpet cleaner packs a lot of power for its size! I was pleasantly surprised to see the amount of dirt and cat hair that it picked up (even after vacuuming first)! The water and cleaning solution was used surprisingly fast, so I did have to refill it in order to clean the whole rug. I was also thrilled with the fact that the carpet cleaner was very quiet (much quieter than a regular vacuum), and I was able to use it while my 2 year old was asleep. I used the caper cleaner again after one of my cats threw up on the bedroom carpet. This time, I used an attachment, which made it very easy to clean a small spot. Overall, this product is amazing for a small and busy household with kids and multiple cats. I would definitely recommend this product!

I was able to put it together in under 10 minutes with my 2 year old at my hip. What I absolutely loved about the carpet cleaner was how just a little bit of the included solution went a long way. I was able to clean the carpet in my living room (about a 400 sq ft room), my 3-seat sofa, and loveseat with only one cycle of water. The entire room smelled so fresh and even traveled upstairs. The smell was very light and airy and didn't bother my daughter who is sensitive to smells. Although I do not have any pets, I do have twin toddlers who are 2 and a 5 year old. Months prior they dropped blue play dough on the floor and while attempting to clean it up, some of the dye transferred onto our light brown carpet. It took about 3 passes, but eventually the carpet cleaner was able to remove the stain and have it look brand new again. Best of all, it didn't take very long for the carpet to dry. I came back after about 30 minutes and my carpet was completely dry in most areas. Now the not so good: The box showed that there should be two sample solutions included, but I only received one. Although taking the carpet cleaner apart to clean is extremely easy (like takes less than 5 minutes to clean type easy), the clear section at the base doesn't appear to be able to be cleaned. I included photos to help see what I'm referring to. My worry is if it'll pose an issue with the effectiveness of the carpet cleaner long term. Lastly, the carpet cleaner includes an attachable hose for upholstery cleaning. It comes in a black bag for storage, but I would've preferred if there was somewhere on the carpet cleaner itself to store the hose. This isn't a major issue as attaching the hose is super easy and it works beautifully! I was able to remove a few different stains off the sofa and loveseat with it. I just would've preferred being able to hang it when I was done. I received this carpet cleaner from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Wonderful Addition to Cleaning Arsenal

I recieved this carpet cleaner as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. As soon as I found out I was recieving a carpet cleaner I was very excited. I have 3 small children and 2 cats, so carpet messes are nothing I'm a stranger to. Putting the carpet cleaner together after taking it out of the box was really simple. I followed the directions to make sure I did nothing wrong, but really it was pretty self explanatory. It's an upright cleaner, not a spot cleaner, so it is large if you just want to clean a small spot, but it is light and easily maneuverable. So far I have used the cleaner to clean the carpets in the room two of my children share. This carpet has been subject to potty training accidents and vomit from tummy bugs, and while we've always cleaned it with rags and spray cleaners and disinfectants, it still had plenty of spots and stains as a result. After vacuuming I ran the cleaner through the room and was pleasantly surprised with how simple it was to use. It was as comfortable to push around as a vacuum. I used two clean water tanks with the cleaning solution to cover the whole room and then ran two more tanks of clean water as a rinse. The amount of dirt the carpet cleaner pulled out pf the carpet was both impressive and disgusting. I ran the machine without water or solution to pull excess water out of the carpet and it did an excellent job. After a couple passes the floor only felt slightly damp, not sodden. I finished with the room at noon, and by bed time it was dry and I could move their beds and things back into the room. I also used the included hose and upholstery tool to clean my husband's recliner. The tool did it's job okay, but the vaccuum part leaks a bit of water as it rid into the machine through the hose, and the spray nozzle in the hose leaks on my hand whenever I switch between spray mode and tool cleaning mode so for that reason I took a star off my review. I wrapped a towel around the bottom of the vaccum to catch

The TurboClean Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner has been a total lifesaver for my home. I've got pets who love running around with dirty paws, and this thing picks up all the mess they bring inside without any hassle, so getting this as a part of the stellar product testing panel was a huge win, especially since my house is a light colored pallete. It's super easy to use and does a solid job getting dirt and stains out of my carpets. The suction is strong, and the pet-specific tools really help with the hair and tougher spots. It's lightweight, too, so no heavy lifting. Overall, it's been a great addition for keeping my place clean without a ton of effort. Definitely recommend!

Does It Sphynx?

On today's episode of "Does It Sphynx" we have the Bissell TurboClean™ Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner. Sphynx cats tend to leave an oily residue behind and mine likes to curl up in the only light colored chair in the house, so I am always on the lookout for a good carpet/upholstery cleaner. The chair is the first thing I tackled. My initial impressions: The cleaner is light weight and easy to maneuver. I don't like that the upholstery tool can not be stored on the cleaner. Instead, it has to be kept in a separate bag and you have to pull it out and connect it each time you want to use it. I am also not fond of the location of the power switch. It's down pretty far on the back of the machine so you have to squat pretty low to reach it. I do like the handle on the dirty water bin and I like how easy it is to dump. I also appreciate that the clean water bin has a flat bottom so I can set it down in the sink while it fills without worrying about it falling over. During cleaning: The spray nozzle on the upholstery cleaner seemed to work well. The water fanned out nicely and it sucked it back up as it should. As far as how well it cleaned, the results were pretty splotchy. It looked great in some areas, while others looked like I hadn't even touched them. This could possibly be fixed by going over it several times, but I'm not about to spend all day cleaning a chair. Next I cleaned the dirtiest rug in my house which lives in my basement. This rug has several VERY set in stains. For this, I used the carpet cleaner. The Bissell actually pleasantly surprised me on this part. It pulled a lot of very gross, dark water out of the rug and even seemed to have lightened up some of the worst of the stains. Overall, I would say if you are looking for a carpet cleaner, this is a nice product. If you are looking for something to cleaned heavily soiled upholstery, I would look into a different product. This carpet cleaner does best at what it says is does: cleaning carpets.
