Must Have for Families

This thing does it all! I'm so thankful to have been given this by the Stellar Product Testing Panel to test and review- surprise surprise, we're in love! As an upright carpet cleaner it worked wonders on the rugs in my kids rooms, and we are a no shoes in the house family! I couldn't believe the dirt and messes it pulled up, the rugs didn't even look dirty. It's not heavy or awkward to use (I am very pregnant, for reference), but with the upright setting it does spray a lot of cleaning solution if used per the manual. The true wonder for me was how easy and effective the upholstery tools were! The Bissel is so easy and quick to use! We have a really nice set of couches that just get wrecked by the kids and they look good as new after a quick half hour and one tank of cleaning solution! What I appreciate most is that while using the hand held brush, the suction works amazingly well so your couches aren't soaking wet for hours afterwards. Cleaning the machine and tank was quick and intuitive as well. This machine is a must have for families and pet owners! My only critique is I wish they labeled the tank for a half tank of solution instead of a full tank that way you could spot clean without needing to use up the whole tank of cleaning solution.

Does It Sphynx?

On today's episode of "Does It Sphynx" we have the Bissell TurboClean™ Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner. Sphynx cats tend to leave an oily residue behind and mine likes to curl up in the only light colored chair in the house, so I am always on the lookout for a good carpet/upholstery cleaner. The chair is the first thing I tackled. My initial impressions: The cleaner is light weight and easy to maneuver. I don't like that the upholstery tool can not be stored on the cleaner. Instead, it has to be kept in a separate bag and you have to pull it out and connect it each time you want to use it. I am also not fond of the location of the power switch. It's down pretty far on the back of the machine so you have to squat pretty low to reach it. I do like the handle on the dirty water bin and I like how easy it is to dump. I also appreciate that the clean water bin has a flat bottom so I can set it down in the sink while it fills without worrying about it falling over. During cleaning: The spray nozzle on the upholstery cleaner seemed to work well. The water fanned out nicely and it sucked it back up as it should. As far as how well it cleaned, the results were pretty splotchy. It looked great in some areas, while others looked like I hadn't even touched them. This could possibly be fixed by going over it several times, but I'm not about to spend all day cleaning a chair. Next I cleaned the dirtiest rug in my house which lives in my basement. This rug has several VERY set in stains. For this, I used the carpet cleaner. The Bissell actually pleasantly surprised me on this part. It pulled a lot of very gross, dark water out of the rug and even seemed to have lightened up some of the worst of the stains. Overall, I would say if you are looking for a carpet cleaner, this is a nice product. If you are looking for something to cleaned heavily soiled upholstery, I would look into a different product. This carpet cleaner does best at what it says is does: cleaning carpets.

Thanks to Stellar Panel I received The Bissell TurboClean Pet Upright Carpet to test and review. Lets get Started. Unboxing: - Assembly took about 5 minutes. - simple Product Overview: - I tested this carpet cleaner in a home with white carpeting, which had pet stains and food stains. - In result the carpet was clean and whiter than previously. - Deeper stains needed the spot cleaning tool after initial clean and mostly came out. Some were grease stains that I did not expect to fully come clean but they lightened. - The cleaning solution included had no scent to it like some other pet cleaning products. - The machine as a whole has a nice narrow design, Which fits in most tight areas and great for storage. Smaller areas you can use the spot cleaning tool. - My favoite part of this cleaner is the spot cleaning tool for small messes and hard to clean areas. The machine is over does a great basic clean. Overall: I would recomend this machine to anyone with pets, small children, or enterainers. **My photos show before and after use. one shows after use and then spot cleaned.

Incredible cleaner

Thanks to the Stellar product testing panel for the chance to try the TurboClean Pet Carpet cleaner! First impression is wow! My household has three large dogs, two cats, and two young kids so things get dirty quickly especially furniture and rugs. Right out of the box I was impressed with how easy it was to assemble as well as its relatively compact size. The design of the cleaner just makes sense. The holding tank stays stationary over the unit so dirty water isn't sloshing around while using. The wand function was a lifesaver for using on upholstery- and also a cinch to clean when done. No extra tools needed to clean the cleaner when done. Total time saver. I was eager to test the wand on some stains on the foot of my sofa. To my surprise, the stains lifted within minutes. The suction on the wand was great and once done only left a mild dampness that maybe took an hour to dry. I then tested its ability on my living room rug. Remarkable how much dirt this machine pulled out of the rug. The only point I must note- this machine is LOUD. However, it has incredible suction and cleaning power. I will take that trade. Overall, this carpet cleaner would be a great tool for anyone with pets and carpets. It makes cleaning easy. Easy to prep, easy to use, and easy to clean up. It's not super bulky and weighs no more than your standard vacuum.

Small but powerful

With a 60 pound lab mix and a 5 month old baby, I have a fair share of mess so keeping any fabric clean is a struggle. Since I don't have a lot of storage space, this carpet cleaner was appealing as it was both an upright carpet cleaner and had the ability to be an upholstery cleaner with the included attachments! I loved it as an upright cleaner. I have an area rug in my son's nursery that had a stain above an orange "v" in the design. I used the carpet cleaner on that stain and it's barely noticeable now! It pulled up stains from lotions that had spilled, spit up, and even dirt that my dog had tracked in! I was stunned at how much dirt it pulled up from the rug even from other areas that I thought were clean. Also it's easy to maneuver and it's not bulky at all! I would caution that the smell of the cleaning formula can be pretty strong so you might want to leave some extra time for the room to air out a bit. Thankfully my dog didn't seem to be bothered by the smell! I was also very excited to use the self cleanout tool attachment with the seven foot hose. The long hose meant that I wasn't constantly tugging the cleaner behind me! I tackled a couch that my dog has claimed as her own that's always covered in dirt that she tracks in. While the cleanout tool was able to get a lot of dirt out of the couch I was cleaning, I found I had to apply a lot of pressure to get really good suction. Additionally, one slightly annoying quirk I found is that after using the self clean option I would switch the nozzle of the tool back to spray and there was leftover water that would run down the handle. On carpet and area rugs the upright carpet cleaner is awesome. While I did have some issues with the self cleanout tool, it and the crevice tool are definitely effective. Dumping the dirty water out of the tank each time is deeply satisfying and is proof of just how strong this cleaner is. A small but powerful carpet cleaner

As soon as I got the TurboClean™ Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner I was shocked at how small the box was. As we live in an apartment we don't have a lot of extra space, but the carpet cleaner has a small profile and can be taken apart to save even more space. It's super easy to assemble and I was ready to go in minutes after opening it. I wondered if such a small unit would be able to give a deep clean, but was shocked by how much dust and dirt came out of our area rug which we vacuum regularly (you can see the results in one picture). I was also able to use the included hose and attachment to clean a chair we were passing on, and again was impressed by the results. I was able to easily maneuver the unit over our living room rug, and loved how the handle moves at an angle while the water tanks stay upright for great weight distribution. With all that, I cleaned the whole thing quickly and used about one tank of water/cleaner mix. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this carpet cleaner! I'm excited to take this to the upstairs rooms which have wall to wall carpet to help bring them back to life as well.

Compact and efficient cleaner

I received this TurboClean Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner from the Stellar Product Test Panel and it came in at a great time- my daughter had an accident on my carpeted steps the same day! I grabbed the handheld attachment and it handled my textured carpet on the stairs very easily! I'm so excited that I now can get rid of my old green machine and have the carpet cleaner and the handheld cleaner in one machine;I've never seen the combo before! Also worth noting, the size of this cleaner is much smaller than others I've seen-making it great for those of us with small houses and storage places! That said- I did have to refill the water tank several times for my living room rug but it's worth the trade off for the less bulky machine! I found it very intuitive to put together and use, and the suction was strong, leaving my carpet not soaking wet which was important to me. My favorite thing though has to be that it includes the handheld attachment, I see myself using it often for furniture, stairs,& my car even!
