My Home Smells Like New

I was given this carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Specifically, the TurboClean™ Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner, and I have to say I was blown away by this things performance and overall ability. The body itself was far less bulky than previous cleaners I've operated, and it felt incredibly light in comparison. It was much easier to push around the floor and over carpet. So much so that upon first use, I did two separate rugs in different floors and our whole stairway! I couldn't believe how much dirt and grime this cleaner pulled up from our rugs and carpet. To be honest, the cleaner was a huge help as well because we own "ruggables" which can be difficult to wash at home or you need to pay to take them to a laundromat. This solved that issue in a big way and brought our carpet back to life. Even the scent from the Bissell cleaning solution was amazing. My office smells and feels so much cleaner with years of the excess debris and dust pulled out of the stairs and rug. Another great feature to this carpet cleaner was how easy the reservoir pieces are to remove and fill and clean after finishing. I found the intuitive and well made for a simple process. Even the additional cleaning tools were as simple to exchange out and clean with. The crevice and tough stain tools were excellent at getting difficult to reach spots and still get the same cleaning power. After thorough use because I was so impressed, I was dismayed that the hose dropped with the tough stain tool attachment and the clear plastic top cover partially broke. I understand why it's removable to be cleaned and so forth but after trying to reattach the pieces I can see why they might break as they are very tiny and possibly fragile. The hose dropped from vacuum level or lower as I was finishing a spot on the carpet floor. Useful Tool But Sort of Niche

I received this product as part of the Stellar Testing Panel. I was in the market for a similar type tool for a while so I jumped at the opportunity to try this one out. We have a fair bit of carpet throughout our house, and while high quality, it begins to look pretty shabby at times due to pets, small children, and dirty shoes (especially during the rainy / muddy / snowy months). We had professional carpet cleaning not too long ago, but already, I could see some stains developing that our regular vacuum wasn't handling. I was impressed by Turbo Clean's ability to get below the surface. Our carpet definitely looks better than it did before! And to be honest, my inner "clean freak" just feels better knowing that I cleaned below the surface and not just the top layer of dirt. I also really like the attachments that make it possible to clean the stairs since that's such a high traffic area. I found it a little "stiff" in its ability to maneuver in tight spaces, but it wasn't impossible. It just wasn't as "nimble" as other vacuums and cleaners I've used. I personally try to be pretty non-toxic in my home cleaning supplies so I didn't love some of the chemicals in the provided cleaner. I wonder if I could substitute my non-toxic cleaning options in the tank, but I wasn't sure and didn't want to risk damaging the machine with products not designed for it. All in all, I'm very happy with it and happy to have the option to clean more deeply than a regular vacuum allows. It's not perfect, and there are some stains that didn't come out completely (particularly some marker stains on my son's rug), but that may just come with the territory of this stage of life. We're pretty tough on our floors! If you have a lot of carpeted areas in your home, you should definitely consider this product!

Carpet Cleaner Win

I received this product as part of a Stellar Product Testing Panel, but I would have gladly spent the money to purchase it myself after having used it. I have two cats and a toddler so there are ALWAYS new messes in my house. Putting together the TurboClean Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner was very easy, I didn't even look at the directions to do it! I've used it on my large area rugs and on my couch and chairs using the upholstery attachment. Let's just say it was a bit impressive and embarrassing how much cleaner my things are, especially the couch. I do find the number of parts you have to deal with to be a bit much, but the design makes it easy to get everything off and back on so it's not nearly as bad as it could be. Overall, I've been extremely happy with this carpet cleaner.

Powerful & Easy to Use

I received this product as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and tried it out for the first time this morning. The carpet cleaner is very self-explanatory and was extremely easy to set up straight out of the box. We used it today to clean a large area rug in our house which we have had for a long time and though I vacuum it weekly, this carpet cleaner managed to pick up an incredible amount of dirt, dog hair, and probably a bunch of other small particles that my regular vacuum obviously misses. It hinges easily which makes it very easy to maneuver and I really like how heavy the base is because it stayed securely on the carpet the whole time and got to clean deep down to the bottom, rather than feeling like it was floating on the surface. After an initial round of pulling the trigger to dispense the cleaning solution on the rug, it took about 3 more rounds of using the vacuum function for the rug to be mostly dry, which was impressive. The rug looks and smells great! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because our rug has a bit of a wave in it now and is slightly buckling on the edges, though I hope it will flatten back out in a few days. I'm also unsure about how easy it will be to clean the grime out of the smaller sections of the base. I admittedly haven't tried yet, but there is a lot of grime and a few very small spaces that seem to be hard to reach for cleaning. Overall, I'm very happy with this product and especially excited to use it on the other carpeted areas of my home so we can live in a much cleaner space... my whole house smells fresh after just cleaning this one rug!

Great Carpet Cleaner!

This carpet cleaner packs some real power! I thought my carpets were pretty clean, but I was shocked by the amount of dirt that it pulled up. The installation instructions were easy to follow, and I was able to get it set up and read to use in less than 10 minutes. The machine is pretty quiet and lifts dirt and pet hair quickly, with minimal effort. My absolute favorite part of this machine is how efficient it is at extracting the water and leaving the carpet nice and dry! There are a few apprehensions I have with the machine design and use. The placement of the power button makes it a little cumbersome to turn on and off, and the hefty design makes it a bit clunky to maneuver and get into tighter spaces. As for the functionality, my main concern was with the amount of cleaning solution that the machine dispensed in a short amount of time. I tested the product on an area rug, but I know I would need to refill the cleaning reservoir multiple times and use a lot of solution to clean a larger area of carpet. However, based on the results I see, I think it might be worth it. Overall, I was very impressed with the power of this cleaner and how easy it is to use and clean after use. I will definitely be working on some more rooms in the house soon. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this carpet cleaner.

I've only vacuumed my rugs and never used a carpet cleaner, but when Stellar Product Testing Panel asked me if I wanted to try out the TurboClean Cleaner I figured I'd give it a try. I was shocked by how much dirt, hair, and fluff were extracted. The picture shows 2 passes on half the rug. I'd recommend pouring the dirty water outside instead of the tub :). It makes me regret never using one before; that water was gross. It was very easy to assemble and use. It is the same size as a regular vacuum. I'm still getting a feel for how often to pull the trigger but a tank should be enough for one pass over a large rug or a small room. It was simple to use and the small scrubby wand (pictured) is easy to click on and off the machine and is handy for corners, stairs, and seats in the car (our minivan has cloth seats which can get messy). It also comes with a thinner suction wand with no brush for really narrow spaces, though I haven't used it yet. The clear casing on the wand (and the main machine) makes it easy to see if it is still extracting water, and how dirty the water is to determine if it needs another pass. It's hard to tell from the pictures but the half of the rug that I did is much cleaner than the half I didn't do. The machine is extremely powerful but the rug was extremely dirty and it will take a few more passes to come clean. I think if I use it once a month (instead of once after 7 years) it will be more than up to the task. It comes with some self clean (antibacterial) options where you can cycle clean water through the machine to clean the gunk that accumulates inside. To clean the dirty water tank afterward I filled it with clean water, put the filter back in, shook and poured it out. That seemed to work well. The only thing I would change is the power button. It is small and halfway down the handle not a foot pedal or by the handle. This is not a dealbreaker and I'd recommend this carpet cleaner, especially if you've never cleaned your carpets before.

Wowee! My Sofas Were Surprisingly Dirty!

Before using this machine my carpet and sofas didn't look visibly dirty. Naturally, I assumed this was because they weren't. Unfortunately for me, I found out how very wrong I was. I appreciated that the solution canister included the cleanser to water ratio printed directly on it. It makes it so much simpler to just pour out the recommended ratio and start cleaning. The tank holds a decent amount of cleansing solution, as well. I was able to clean a low pile cotton 6' x 9' area rug and a small microfiber sofa with one full tank. It is also easy to maneuver. If you can push a vacuum, then you can use this machine. The trick is to go slowly and let the machine do the work for you. The rolling brush on the bottom does all of the hard scrubbing. The upholstery attachment still requires some elbow grease, but it also does a good job of cleaning. I also really liked that this machine is an upright. I used to have a portable cleaner for small pet accidents. I would have to lug it around and get down on the floor to scrub. This upright cleaner is so much easier. Once you are done, disassembly is simple. The clean water canister and the dirty water canister come out easily and can be rinsed out and left to dry. The upholstery attachment also has a setting that allows you to flush out the attachment and hose with the cleansing solution. This is a really nice extra feature because you won't be putting away a stinky, dirty hose. Because this machine is an upright, I am able to just wheel it into a narrow broom closet when I'm done. Overall, I think this carpet cleaner is effective and easy to use. I recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable upright model. Quiet and Powerful Clean

I was given this carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The carpet cleaner is smaller than I imagined, so I was initially skeptical about its power, but happy that it could be easily stored in my townhouse without taking up too much space. I first used the carpet cleaner on a large living room rug, which gets the most foot traffic out of any other room in the house. This carpet cleaner packs a lot of power for its size! I was pleasantly surprised to see the amount of dirt and cat hair that it picked up (even after vacuuming first)! The water and cleaning solution was used surprisingly fast, so I did have to refill it in order to clean the whole rug. I was also thrilled with the fact that the carpet cleaner was very quiet (much quieter than a regular vacuum), and I was able to use it while my 2 year old was asleep. I used the caper cleaner again after one of my cats threw up on the bedroom carpet. This time, I used an attachment, which made it very easy to clean a small spot. Overall, this product is amazing for a small and busy household with kids and multiple cats. I would definitely recommend this product!
