Amazing product-easy to use!

This was so easy to put together and use! I had it up and running in less than five minutes after removing it from the box. The directions were very easy to follow. The machine itself worked great! I first used it to clean a rug in our main entryway. I could immediately see the dirt lifting out of the rug and the dirty water tank was filling with dirty water. I also used the hose attachment to clean our upholstered dining chairs that have never been deep cleaned. They are dark navy so the dirt is hidden well (eww). To say the dirty water was dark after cleaning these would be an understatement. The attachment was very easy to use and cleaned very well. I have yet to take this upstairs to use on a fully carpeted room, but I am confident that it will get the job done. My only complaint was all the overspray when using the attachment on the upholstered chairs. No matter how I tried to angle the hose, it still sprayed all over, but that an easy clean up in the grand scheme of things and at least it is spraying clean water solution. Cleaning these machine after use was easy to do, and is always recommended after using any type of wet mop/cleaning machine to prevent smells from developing. Overall, I think this is a great product and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an easy to use carpet cleaner. I received the TurboClean Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner from the Stellar product testing panel to try out and share my feedback. The product came close to Christmas and I had just had our carpets cleaned for company coming for the holiday so I didn't expect that there would be much to clean during my initial run. I have dark colored carpet so it conceals stains and I didn't see any trouble spots so I just ran the cleaner over my home office carpet. The water was so dirty I couldn't believe it. The carpet cleaner did a great job and removed more gunk that I didn't realize was there and really shouldn't have been there after I paid to have our carpets cleaned. The carpet cleaner was light weight compared to what I've used in the past and it navigated our thick carpet really well. I would certainly recommend this carpet cleaner and I look forward to continuing to use it in the future when we have clean up needs from our pets, spills or high traffic areas. It's easy to use and certainly impressed me with the stuff it was able to clean out after having our carpets cleaned.

Assembly and storage: It came in a compact box but it was super easy to assemble, just two screws and ready to go without following complicated manuals. I like that the handle can go in for compact storage even after assembled too. Usage: The cleaner is small and lightweight which makes it easy to maneuver and carry around and is great for quick cleanup of messes, it can even be used to clean up stairs. The small size make it a little slower to use for cleaning up a whole room or bigger areas but it can handle that too if you're ok refilling multiple times. It only took 2 tanks to clean up the whole carpet in a room, not bad. I loved that it could go all the way to the edge of the wall. It is nice to have a cleaner like this for spot or whole room cleanup. Filling and cleaning it up: The tank for the cleaning solution and water is very easy to take in and out and refill, it has markings included so you always know the right mix of water and cleaning solution. The dirty water tank is at the front so you can see what you're picking up as you go and is easy to take off and put back as well although it has a weird shape inside so taking out the dirty water requires a little bit of shaking and I fear over time some dirt will get trapped inside. You can also remove the filter and part of the suction front for clean up. Results: It left my room smelling clean as I went and didn't leave the carpet too wet, it dried up within 12 hrs. The cleaning solution did leave the carpet a little stiff at the beginning but definitely looking and smelling cleaner, totally worth it! Definitely recommend it for quick clean ups or smaller areas. Must Have for Families

This thing does it all! I'm so thankful to have been given this by the Stellar Product Testing Panel to test and review- surprise surprise, we're in love! As an upright carpet cleaner it worked wonders on the rugs in my kids rooms, and we are a no shoes in the house family! I couldn't believe the dirt and messes it pulled up, the rugs didn't even look dirty. It's not heavy or awkward to use (I am very pregnant, for reference), but with the upright setting it does spray a lot of cleaning solution if used per the manual. The true wonder for me was how easy and effective the upholstery tools were! The Bissel is so easy and quick to use! We have a really nice set of couches that just get wrecked by the kids and they look good as new after a quick half hour and one tank of cleaning solution! What I appreciate most is that while using the hand held brush, the suction works amazingly well so your couches aren't soaking wet for hours afterwards. Cleaning the machine and tank was quick and intuitive as well. This machine is a must have for families and pet owners! My only critique is I wish they labeled the tank for a half tank of solution instead of a full tank that way you could spot clean without needing to use up the whole tank of cleaning solution.

Great for small spaces and pet owners

I've been using a Bissell BarkBath Duo to freshen up my Samoyeds; we had hardwood floors and the carpet attachment was used for spot cleaning the hardwood floor, our car carpet, and upholstery. Last year we moved to a condo with concrete floors; the bedroom is about 1/3 the space of the small condo and looked awkward without something to break up the space. Neither I nor my partner like floor coverings, but we got a 10x12 rug. The dogs LOVE it; they can dig their little claws in there and actually get a grip! I've been using the BarkBath to spot clean it for the last year, and it finally gave out after 5 faithful years of service. Living in a small home means every purchase must justify the amount of space it takes up and perform several tasks. We loved the price of the TurboClean, the attachments, and the fact that it came with sample-size cleaners, the minimal footprint, and the spot clean capability for upholstery. It arrived four days after a deep clean, and I immediately used it on the concrete floors to test the suction, expecting little difference because they are vacuumed and mopped daily. I used water heated to 115 deg F, and a non-toxic hardwood cleaner to avoid a rinse pass. The amount of dirt and grime that came up! Not only was it an effective floor scrubber, almost doubling as a vacuum, it also suctioned an excellent amount of the dispensed cleaner, and the floors dried quickly. I used the same 115 deg F water on the rug, this time diluting the recommended amount of detergent into the reservoir, and gave it a quick soak pass, dispensing the cleaner on the rug without allowing the TurboClean the chance to suction it up (it still suctioned a good amount). Then I filled the clean reservoir again, this time with half the recommended detergent, and actually cleaned the rug; the amount of dirt that came up was astounding! I gave the rug two more passes with just hot water to pull out all the detergent for dog safety, and the water got lighter by the second pass. Afraid of soaking the rug through its pad, I decided to do it all over again in a couple weeks until the water runs clear. My whole 750 sq ft condo took me 2 hours, 8 full tanks of clean water, and 10 empties of the dirty water to scrub.
There were a few things I did not like: the location of the on-button feels too low, but I understand the design calls for it since it has to be shipped in pieces. The foot lever to release the handle is too flimsy and sticky and more often than not made the whole TurboClean lunge backwards when I was trying to use it. The wheels do not pivot at all so whenever you change positions it groans like Chewbacca. Despite all this, it is a highly effective machine . The TurboClean has earned its place in my cleaning closet.

The absolute best

The team that designed this little powerhouse should get an all expenses paid, 2 week vacation. We just bought this yesterday, retiring the big daddy we had, which was also a bissell, but when you get to be a silver haired woman, our old one was not doing a great job, and was getting way too hard to hard to use. Carpet had pet stains, but now looks bright, clean, and I am feeling only a little tired, now for honesty sake ..... I am 78, and I feel all my limitations, but this little treasure is my early birthday present to myself
