Carpet Cleaning made easy

I was so excited to receive this carpet cleaner from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have a small hand upholstery cleaner that I love, but this can do carpet much faster and it also has attachments to do upholstery as well! As anyone with children and pets knows, cleaning your carpets and upholstery is a must. I admit I have not cleaned my carpets in a very long time, so a cleaning was much overdo. First off it was easy to assemble right out of the box. I filled up the water canister and put in the cleaner. The instructions have everything you need to know. I tested it out on our small living room carpet. It was fast and simple to do, and as you will see in the photos it cleaned well. It was easy to take apart and rinse out. Make sure you vacuum your carpets prior to cleaning. It said to do this in the instructions, but I was so excited to try it out that I did not. I wish that I had however, as it left clumps of lint/hair. I think it would have been even a little easier to clean out if all of that wasn't in there. So follow the instructions!

I finally discovered the filth hiding in my carpets!

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing the Bissell TurboClean Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner in exchange of my honest review. Let's start by saying that we have a small dog that sheds tons of hair, and two rough boys that carry and drag their toys up and down from the first to second floor. We have a no-pets-no-shoes-upstairs rule to minimize bringing dirt up but, it still happens. I tested the TurboClean Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner by dry vacuuming first multiple times my younger son's room which doubles as playroom, then I was amazed at how much dirt was hiding underneath the carpet strands. The instructions state to spray once while moving forward and back, then release the spray and move forward and back on the sprayed area. At each pass I could see it was pulling lots of disgusting wads of dirt and at one point I thought the carpet itself was getting damaged from the suction but no, it was all filth getting lifted up. All dirt from living in this house for the last 4 years has never been deep cleaned like this. The cleaner itself has the same height of a regular vacuum cleaner, but I wished it was a bit easier to maneuver. It came with 1 cleaning solution and the tank tells you the filling line. The dirty water tank collects what is picked up from the brushed carpet and even though I wish it was larger I realized that it's more manageable to work in small batches if you want to get to really clean it. I noticed the cleaning solution needed per tank of water is about 1.5oz and it has a nice fresh scent without being too overpowering or too much of chemical smell. One thing I remember having trouble with is emptying the dirty water tank. The filth was mixed in the water and I thought of pouring it in the bathtub to prevent clogs by picking the wads of dirt so it wouldn't get to the drain. It was very nasty to say the least but now I feel the carpet is a lot cleaner. Next time I think I will empty the water tank outside I'm the backyard. I

Amazing machine!

Wow, this is such a great little machine! The size is just perfect - it covers area quickly, yet is not so huge and bulky that it feels stressful to use. Even my kids were able to easily work with it, and my back appreciated the easier maneuverability - it's so much nicer than similar machines I have tried of other brands. I also love that - with the quality I've come to expect from Bissell - this machine is so easy to assemble and fill/dump. The whole process is very intuitive, even for someone like me that isn't very mechanically minded. Also, the attachments feel sturdy and well-made. We have 3 kids and 2 cats, and we live on a farm - so our rugs get a lot of dirt and hair on them. I used a dry vacuum over our living room rug first as instructed, then this cleaner. I was both impressed and disgusted by the amount of dirt this cleaner found even after the other vacuuming! I felt a lot better about having our young niece visit, knowing the rug was truly clean for her to crawl on. I'm looking forward to keeping it cleaner from now on! I also tried this cleaner on our living room furniture and was able to remove several stubborn stains. The smaller attachments worked well getting into the crevices and crannies. I'm glad to know we have this to turn to any time the kids or cats are messy. Thanks so much to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this carpet cleaner! It is a great addition to our family's cleaning arsenal.

Great Carpet Cleaner!

This carpet cleaner is just what I needed to refresh my space! It was easy to assemble, and is very lightweight for a full size cleaner. It came with multiple accessories and a bag for holding them which was helpful. The tools are easy to use on my sofa and small areas and picked up stains that had been set in for a while. I used the carpet cleaner as a whole to maintain my carpet's cleanliness, and once after my dog got sick on the carpet. All stains came up easily and I can't tell they were ever there in the first place. The water compartments were easy to clean afterwards and keep ready for the next use. Overall, I love this carpet cleaner and appreciate how strong and comprehensive it is for such a lightweight a tool. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this carpet cleaner.

Lightweight, powerful, and easy to clean!

This cleaner is lightweight and easy to maneuver, yet offers a powerful clean. Living with pets, a toddler and a charming and clumsy husband, I use a carpet cleaner at least twice a month for significant spaces on the floor, and more often for spot cleaning. I used the Bissel Turboclean Pet to clean a stubborn carpet stain as well as some deep stains on the arm of my couch. Beyond the great maneuverability and lightweight design, both the clean and dirty water tanks are very easy to connect, disconnect, carry and clean. This cleaner banished that stubborn carpet stain and immediately lifted significant dark spots off of the arm of my couch, which seems to take a lot of abuse. The upholstery tool was very effective and I really appreciate it self-cleaning, "clean out" feature, as I feel it really helps to keep the unit clean. My favorite features, the lightweight design and ease of after-cleaning, means that even with rheumatoid arthritis, these tasks are much less taxing for me and I am more easily able to maintain a clean home. This powerful machine looks sleek and is less bulky, meaning I can fit it into a smaller space better than other cleaners I've had. I love this carpet cleaner. Powerful, Lightweight, and Slim

I was given this carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The TurboClean™ Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner rivals all carpet cleaners I have tried for both day-to-day dirt buildup as well as pet stains. Even after vacuuming the carpet twice, the carpet cleaner pulled up quite a bit of dirt and animal fur. I used this in a bedroom with normal dirt buildup and a very recent stain from our dog, and it pulled up the stain completely. I love the slim, lightweight design. It's easy to assemble as well as maneuver. The included tools work great for upholstered furniture and pull out all the dirt buildup and animal fur (much more than I'd thought there would be). It also leaves behind a refreshing, clean scent. I would say, simply compared to others I have used, this carpet cleaner does go through water pretty quickly. In a 12' by 12' room, I went through two tanks of water. Other than that, this is a powerful, lightweight, and slim carpet cleaner great for those with or without pets.

Great Deep Cleaning

I used this TurboClean Upright Pet Carpet Cleaner for all carpeted areas in a 3500sq.ft. home before family arrived for the holidays. Everything was so much cleaner especially the high traffic areas, and the carpets smelled so fresh too!! It proved it's deep cleaning abilities 500% when our Huskey got sick in the livingroom on Christmas Day morning just hours before company arriving. This carpet cleaner's power impressed me with the cleanliness but also how much it sucked back from the carpets so barely damp. Saved our home on the holiday.
