Easy, Effective (And A Little Loud)

I first used the carpet cleaner to clean the upholstery on my sofas. I have two young children so the cushions were looking pretty spotted with dirt and stains. It was easy to connect the upholstery cleaning accessories and very simple to use. It took me 10-15 minutes per cushion until I was satisfied that I had removed the stains and sucked up as much moisture as possible (to try and shorten the drying time). It still took a few hours for the cushions to dry and, afterwards, I did notice a couple of areas that I could go over again. Overall, though, I'm really happy with how much better my sofas look. And I know that I can easily pull this out to give them a quick clean in the future. Next, I used the carpet cleaner to clean the carpet outside my apartment door. This carpet is probably older than I am and I'm not sure it has ever been cleaned. I put the TurboClean to work and the water that got sucked into the reservoir was absolutely disgusting (though it is so satisfying to see that it's working). I went over the carpet until I ran out of cleaning solution so while the before and after photos aren't dramatically different, I know that it's better than before. (I will be buying more solution and tackling that area again.) A few more things to note about this carpet cleaner: -It doesn't take much of the cleaning solution to clean upholstery but you do run through it pretty quickly when cleaning carpets. -This machine is LOUD. It is not something I can use at nap time or after my kids are in bed at night. This is the main reason I rated it 4 and not 5. -It's more lightweight than I was expecting and maneuvers like an upright vacuum. -It's super easy to use, which I appreciate. A lifesaver during a lovely yet messy holiday season!

I'll start by saying this carpet cleaner, kindly gifted by the Stellar Product Testing Panel (THANK YOU!), couldn't have arrived at a more opportune time. It was delivered just days before Christmas, the very day my darling children decided it was a great idea to stomp wildly on a gel-filled drawing pad hard enough to make it pop. Whatever mystery goo fortified with non-washable blue pigment they use to fill that thing squirted out all over our light carpet. With no bandwidth to deal with it on Christmas Eve Eve, I sprayed it with some basic cleaner and hoped for the best. Bad move. After Christmas Day, I finally tried the carpet cleaner. It was really simple to assemble in a minute and was up and running in just a couple more. Had I not been too lazy to assemble it days ago, it would have undoubtedly taken care of the unidentified blue ink-slime instantaneously. However, since the stain was dry, my expectations were low. I used upright mode to first clean the whole speckled area. It was easy to use and cleaned an alarming amount of unseen dirt from the carpet. Yikes -- I've never had a stronger desire to clean the rest of the carpets before. So powerful and effective! It dulled the blue spots to barely there, but I wanted to see if the brush attachment could finish the job. To my surprise and delight, whatever toxic sludge they use actually came out about 98% of the way. Only I would noice the faint discoloration. Afterwards, the dirty water tank was super easy to remove, empty, and rinse. The best part was the self-clean mode on the brush head, as I have a nearly 15-year-old Bissell handheld spot cleaner still in use, and cleaning the brush head interior is always the hardest part. Such an improvement! First pass at this carpet cleaner was a great success, which is wonderful because my kids ended Christmas Day with a stomach flu that's still raging. Thankful for the easy and thorough ability to make quick work of those unexpected messes of the holidays. Oof.

Great for small spaces

This upright carpet cleaner is perfect for someone like me who has mostly hard flooring with plenty of large area rugs, kids and four dogs. It's smaller than a traditional upright carpet cleaner which makes more sense for my household. It's easy to setup out of the box and is quite lightweight. It was quick and easy to use and empty and picked up most of the water solution which helped with a quicker drying time. It came with a crevice tool which I haven't used but I did try the upholstery tool and longer hose extension and it was not only easy to use but did a great job of cleaning my couch. I have a handheld cleaner that works great for upholstery and spot messes but leaves me stuck trying to jam my area rugs into my washer or dragging them outside. Originally I wouldn't have even thought I needed an upright carpet cleaner because they're usually large and bulky but this one has changed my mind and made it so easy to clean my area rugs. I received this carpet cleaner from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this carpet cleaner. I appreciated the power of this carpet cleaner, which is superior to the small spot cleaner I have. It got several set-in pet stains out of my couch upholstery as well as carpets. The attachments made it easier to spot clean, which is what I typically need. It also isn't too heavy to push around like the big commercial cleaners. I did find it somewhat cumbersome to clean properly, but I think that's just part of having a complex machine like this. Overall, I'd recommend this cleaner.

Thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was given this carpet cleaner to try. I was pretty excited to try this carpet cleaner since I not only have a dog, but also 3 small children. As you can imagine, it makes keeping carpets/rugs clean a bit of a challenge. After taking it out of the box it was very easy to assemble, and everything is clearly marked on the cleaner to make it easy to use. It was easy to remove and attach the water tanks, both clean and dirty. I was impressed with how easy it was to maneuver while using, as well as how it wasn't too heavy for what it is. I'm a big fan of the clean water tank being able to stand up on its own, which makes filling with water and cleaning solution so much easier. I noticed that when you get close to the max fill line for the dirty water it almost seems to stop suctioning which is a great feature so you know when to empty the tank. I'm not sure why the tank design is so big, when the max fill line is not even halfway up the tank, but it was easy to empty and clean out. Loved the attachment hose which is great for spot treatment on carpet/rugs, as well as furniture. Overall, I was very satisfied with this carpet cleaner and the noticeable difference on my rugs and couches. If you're looking for a great carpet cleaner, this one is a definite must have.

A small but powerful carpet cleaner

As soon as I got the TurboClean™ Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner I was shocked at how small the box was. As we live in an apartment we don't have a lot of extra space, but the carpet cleaner has a small profile and can be taken apart to save even more space. It's super easy to assemble and I was ready to go in minutes after opening it. I wondered if such a small unit would be able to give a deep clean, but was shocked by how much dust and dirt came out of our area rug which we vacuum regularly (you can see the results in one picture). I was also able to use the included hose and attachment to clean a chair we were passing on, and again was impressed by the results. I was able to easily maneuver the unit over our living room rug, and loved how the handle moves at an angle while the water tanks stay upright for great weight distribution. With all that, I cleaned the whole thing quickly and used about one tank of water/cleaner mix. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this carpet cleaner! I'm excited to take this to the upstairs rooms which have wall to wall carpet to help bring them back to life as well.

A lot of power in this little cleaner

I was given this carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have used a few carpet cleaners before this one - most I find are either too bulky to store or too heavy to use. This one was neither of those things. It is pretty slim- and therefore more lightweight even after filling with water and solution. It is narrower in size which makes it easy to maneuver and store. I like that it more resembles a vacuum and not a giant piece of machinery. I love that it comes with cleaning tools- I used one for my couch and it was great! Added bonus was that it comes with a little bag for the tools which I find amazing so things don't get lost. I used this cleaner to clean up after hosting holiday events. The carpets were pretty dirty with shoes being worn and all of the food/ drinks spillage. I have to say the turboclean got all the filth out!! The only complaint I have about this item is that because it is more lightweight, the tank for the solution is pretty small and requires frequent refilling. Other than that this is a great product!!

Convenient upright carpet cleaner

I love the size of this carpet cleaner. We've had a larger Bissell carpet cleaner for about eight years, and while it works great, the size is prohibitive to using it frequently. It feels like a chore in and of itself to get the larger carpet cleaner out, especially for a smaller area or a spot clean. This TurboClean however, is the perfect size to roll in and out at your convenience, and it will easily fit tucked away in a closet. Out of the box the assembly was a cinch, and I really like the way it looks with the blue accents. It has a hose and brush tool that stores separately in a bag that you can attach to the carpet cleaner when you need it, and setting that up is easy as well. I like the way the clean water and dirty water tanks are configured separately, make easy to remove, dump, and refill. I was able to clean some carpet in the office in my home, and I also used the hose attachment to clean the arm on my cream-colored couch. Overall, I'm very happy with the performance. Cleaning the carpet was really easy and appeared to be effective. While cleaning the arm of the couch, the hose attachment cleaned up the dirt and dinginess of the arm well, but I would definitely need to spot clean stains in conjunction with this cleaner. In addition, spray on the hose attachment is too wide and gets all over the larger area. However, I wouldn't purchase an upright carpet cleaner purely for the functionality of the hose attachment, so it's not a dealbreaker for me. In all, this carpet cleaner is great, and I'd recommend it to anyone with a small space, or someone who wants a more convenient carpet cleaner to whip out for small carpeted areas or spot cleaning. If I wanted to clean all the carpets in my house, I would still pull out my larger carpet cleaner, but I suspect that I will use this TurboClean Pet as my go-to.
