Powerful Vacuum For Pet Households

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box, this vacuum delivers. Starting with an assembly that took just a few minutes from opening the carton to being ready for plug in. The vacuum looks sleek and the clear dust /debris canister front and center, is the standout. The vacuum is not what I’d call lightweight but it’s about standard for an upright. I was able to lift it and maneuver it without issue while both operating it and putting it away for storage. There are a lot of desired features despite it’s lower price. It has two washable filters and an easy to remove debris canister. There is a dial to adjust for flooring type and two tools for crevasses and spot cleaning sofas etc and the handle detached from the base to become a wand for reaching up high or into hard to reach places. The retractable cord feature is an added bonus. With a push of a button the cord coils right up, inside a compartment under the debris canister. Super easy. The suction was great on carpet and very good on hard surface flooring. On carpet, it picked up all the cat hair, fabric dust and bits of thread off my sewing room floor with ease leaving it clean and spotless. On the hard surface flooring, it took several passes to get all the debris up, even with the flooring dial adjusted, but we had an excess of cat liter (sand) so it’s to be expected. My favorite feature of this vacuum is the bright headlights that illuminate a wide pathway in front of the unit as you work. They are super bright. It really helps to be able to see what your picking up as you go and if you’ve successfully cleaned an area. This was especially useful under the tables and the chairs in our living room and dining areas where the light from our lamp doesn’t fall too brightly. The only thing I would add to this vacuum, to make it perfect would be a cord hook on the handle, to help keep the cord up off the floor while I’m using it. Overall, this vacuum is an excellent choice if you want a sturdy easy to use, efficient vacuum with a host of special features at a very affordable price.

The Upgrade we Needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My fiancé and I live in a condo with three cats and a part-time pup. With all that fur and pet “gunk” around, we vacuum at least once a day. Using our new vacuum has greatly improved our quality of life!
Highlights include:
HEADLIGHTS. You know how you sometimes step on a crumb after vacuuming because you didn’t see it? Good news—those days are over! The front light is bright enough to reveal every crumb, hair, and speck of litter in the house…yikes. It’s truly the cleanest our floors have ever felt. This is our first vacuum with headlights, and it’s safe to say we’re never going back.
MOBILITY. We have a large, thick area rug in our living space, and I usually ask my fiancé to vacuum it because it hurts my back. Other vacuums have required a lot of strength to move on this rug--even those with variable-height rollers. This one made it so much easier. Between the well-designed wheels, balanced weight, and smooth maneuverability, our rug looks great and our backs don’t ache. Win-win!
SUCTION (AND FUR PICKUP!). In a world dominated by stick vacuums, we still need something with strong, consistent suction for carpets and rugs--and this vacuum delivers. We have a large orange cat who sheds tufts of long fur, and this is the first vacuum we’ve owned that actually picks it all up without the hair getting tangled around the roller. It’s a small miracle! I even use it on our hardwood floors because it simply does a better job than anything else we’ve tried.
REMOVABLE WAND. This little quality-of-life improvement deserves a shout-out. The wand has a comfortable handgrip that makes it easy to remove and use. The attachments are sturdy and stored in unobtrusive spots on the vacuum body (unlike others that constantly bump into you while cleaning). A lovely, thoughtful design touch.
RETRACTABLE CORD. The cord retracts smoothly--another small but meaningful feature that makes cleanup a breeze.
EASY-TO-EMPTY BIN. I’ve used plenty of vacuums with dirt canisters that are messy or hard to remove. Not this one! It detaches easily, empties cleanly, and helps keep the freshly cleaned areas actually clean.
Our one complaint is, ironically, about one of the vacuum’s standout features: the automatic retractable cord. While we love the retract button (a must-have on any vacuum, in my opinion), the auto-retract and release function, triggered with every movement, made vacuuming feel a bit clunkier. That said, it’s more a matter of personal preference than a flaw. With more use, I could see this feature becoming quite handy, especially for quick touch-ups. It certainly wouldn’t stop us from purchasing this model again.
If you’re looking for an affordable vacuum with thoughtful design details--one that works beautifully on both hard floors and carpets, looks great, and performs even better--this is the one. It’s been a fantastic addition to our cleaning lineup, and we’re not looking back.

Amazing Vacuum

Powerful with Great Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon opening this vacuum it was very simple to assemble! The look is sleek and it is medium weight, not too heavy but not too light. The design looks like my other high end vacuum with the easy to empty dust collector and I love the labels on everything so you know what is what button. My favorite feature is the automatic cord rewind feature. I hate having to wind up a cord or constantly hold one, with this feature you can change the length easily as you move rooms. Another awesome feature is the headlights so you can see under the bed and couch. It helped me collect the dust bunnies all the way in the back that I would have missed otherwise. The power button foot petal is nice and easy to stop and start. The vacuum stands up well on its own once clicked into place and it’s easy to tilt back. My other favorite feature is the way it swivels, it’s not a hard straight back and forth, you can pivot it which is easy and nice for your arm too. Being able to switch the hard wood and carpet feature is great, be sure you don’t have the wrong feature on since it can make it seem very hard to vacuum if you have the floors setting on while cleaning the carpet! I did also like the pet attachment, it was perfect for our couch! Overall the vacuum is very powerful, it collected a lot of dust even after my robo vacuum went through! I would give this a 4.5/5, only complaint is just the cord sometimes would get underneath the vacuum so you had to hold it up, wish there was a little clip you could use if preferred!

Perfect for a Pet Friendly Home

The suction is super strong and it easily keeps up with both cat and dog hair, which is a big deal in our house. I love the automatic cord rewind feature. It makes cleaning up after I vacuum so much quicker and less frustrating. The headlights are also surprisingly helpful. They make it easy to spot dust or pet hair that I might have missed, especially under furniture or in darker corners. My favorite features are the cord rewind, the headlights, and the overall power behind the vacuum. It feels like a solid, reliable machine that actually does what I need it to do.

great vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this vacuum. I have a dog who sheds A LOT and it did a great job of picking up all the hair. My favorite part is the headlight feature that helps me make sure I'm not missing anything. The retractable cord is a big plus so you don't have to worry about winding it up and getting tangled. One thing to note is that the cord does not extend and retract as your are moving. Instead you have to pull at the cable as much as you think necessary and retract when you are done. Not a deal breaker but it did take some getting used to. I like the look and design of it and the tank fits a lot of debris before it needs to be emptied. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a plug in vacuum!

BISSELL CLEANVIEW MAX

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have three pets that ALL SHED — and if you know the struggle of constant fur tumbleweeds, you’ll understand why I’m so hyped with this vacuum! The design is solid without feeling too heavy, and for the price, I think it’s a good value. It feels like it’s built to last.
The automatic cord rewind feature is such a small thing that makes a big difference. I love being able to clean up a quick mess and just press a button to retract the cord — no more wrapping it around hooks every single time.
The headlights are another feature I didn’t realize I needed. They make it so much easier to see pet hair under furniture and in dark corners. It’s kind of gross how much shows up once the light hits it, but also really satisfying to see it all get cleaned up!
As for pet hair performance, this vacuum is a champ. It picks up fur from both my carpets and hard floors with no problem, and it doesn’t get tangled easily. My rugs actually look clean again — which is saying something when you live with kids and pets lol!
My favorite feature overall is how easy it is to maneuver. It glides around furniture, has attachments for under low spots, and transitions from tile to carpet. Cleaning up after my crazy family doesn’t feel like such a HUGE chore anymore, and honestly, that’s worth every penny.

Headed towards greatness but not there yet

When I saw the CleanView Max had a retractable cord I was so excited to try it! The cord does not disappoint, it goes back in the machine super nice and makes putting it away a breeze. I wish this technology was available on more machines. The machine itself does a great job on carpeted surfaces. The canister is large and filled quickly with dust, debris and the hair of my two cats! However, the machine is pretty loud when in use. I assume it’s due to its powerful suction. You do just have to make sure you are selecting the right surface type located on the base. I tested a glitter spill on a hard surface and it did well but I felt carpet was where it really stood out with its suction. I also used it to vacuum hair/dust off my fan and the wand was just average. I had to repeatedly go over some areas and the rollers on the base stayed running for some reason. Another cool feature is the bright headlights. It helps when going under the beds! This machine could be perfect if it was just a little quieter and it’s suction was consistent across all the flooring types
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
